Overview

According to American Petroleum Institute, Fitness-For-Service (FFS) assessments are an evaluations performed to demonstrate the structural integrity of an in-service component which may contain failure or damages.

This course will provide you a clear understanding on how to deal with degraded equipments which is allowed to run without repairing, replacements or reduction of the pressure rating. FFS assessments are applicable to ranges of damage types for example dents, cracks, creep damage and more.

Delegates will go through case studies which shows step by step on the analytical approach and explained applications.Some of the topics which will be included in this course will be assessments of fire damage, high temperature hydrogen attack (HTHA), tank shell & edge settlement, heater tube remaining life, mechanical vibration and thermal & mechanical fatigue.

NOTE: Each delegates are required to bring their own CALCULATOR
