Numerous plants are experiencing excessive alarms all the time, which defeats their purpose as effective safety mechanisms. This is a well-known problem that is being pursued by regulators worldwide. Many standards and documents are available that describe what must be done, but not how to do it. This course is designed to discuss how to tackle the problem and thereby transition to a well-managed plant.
