Overview

Since time immemorial, the trading of goods and the provision of services has been a key basis and tenet for human existence. The earliest forms of trade, prior to the existence of money, depended on barter and exchange of goods. Introduction of the written word and forms of monetary exchange brought with them the opportunity for innovative financing solutions.

We are reaching a time when our approach to the handling of international trade and fiance will be totally redefined.
In order to mitigate risk, it has always been essential to have access to data in order for assessments to be made. In the current evolving digital world, data has never been more widely and easily available and accessible. In this 3-days workshop ladened with case studies, Dave will share his trade fiance techniques and latest industry updates regarding trade fiance. On the fist day, delegates will firstly learn the basics of trade, including the managing of risk, to an analysis of international standard banking practice.

He will then examine the problems that impact upon trade practitioners with regard to discrepancies, sanctions, fraud, and the solutions that can be found in dispute arbitration and will share with delegates on the last day of workshop on an overview of best practices, moves to a study of various Supply Chain Finance techniques, and looks into the development of new products before finishing with an examination of current trends and future digitalisation.
