SUMMARY:Operational Data and Information Management Practices
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nIn the oil and gas industry\, organizations must apply new technologies and processes that will capture and transform raw data into actionable insight to improve asset value and yield while enhancing safety and protecting the environment. The biggest challenge the industry faces is so-called “data democratization\,” or making the data available to decision-makers across several departments in a way that allows everyone to use it meaningfully. Often\, data is in silos and these are all closed-shell systems\, and not easily accessible. \nThe operational production group handles the information on how hydrocarbons are flowing through the well. Better data analysis could help oil and gas companies boost production by 6 to 8 percent. Improved use of data could result in better up-time. \n\nWho Should Attend\nThis course is designed for professionals whose role is linked to operational data management and include job titles such as: \n\nData managers\nData analysts\nData technicians\nDocument managers\nFacilities data managers and technicians\nEngineering records managers\nEnd users of operational\, facilities and engineering data\nAsset team data managers\nIndustry content providers\nTechnical assistants working with operational data\nData architects\nTechnical librarians for asset teams\nSurface data content managers\nOperational information managers\n\n\nKey Learning Points\n\nManage data as an asset with standard procedures\nLearn how an organization analyses and oversees maintenance of operational data information stores and solutions\nExamine how organizations apply quality management methods to assess\, improve and assure fitness for business use in operational data in accordance with industry and organizational business rules\nCommunicate operational aspects and value in a clear and timely manner to align with business strategy\nApply policies\, practices\, and procedures used in operational master data management and compliance\nExecute policies and processes for operational data security management\nUse coordinates and mapping to accurately represent the position of operational assets\n\nEndorsed By:\n \n\nFor further information of this course\, please email to info@opuskinetic.com

SUMMARY:Advanced Carbonate Geology
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThe aims of this course will be focussed on Tertiary carbonates systems and reservoirs of SE Asia and will provide an updated review on the controls of carbonate sedimentation\, global changes through the Tertiary and how these affect reservoir types. The sequence stratigraphy of carbonate\, and mixed siliciclastic carbonate systems will be discussed drawing on examples from SE Asia. The seismic and log expression of SE Asia carbonate systems will also be examined. The origin of sub-surface CO2 will be reviewed. Controls on the pore systems within carbonate reservoirs will be described. \nWho Should Attend\nThis course is ideal for professionals directly involved with carbonate reservoir geology\, and who need a deeper understanding of the complexity and problems associated with carbonate reservoirs. \nJob titles include but are not limited to: \n\nExploration & Development Geoscientists (Geologists & Geophysicists)\nSedimentologists\nReservoir & Petroleum Engineers\nPetrophysicists\nE&P Managers\n\n\nKey Learning Points\n\nTo understand how evolving organisms and global oceanographic conditions influence carbonate systems\, their diagenesis and reservoir quality\nTo understand the unique features of the sequence stratigraphic controls of carbonate systems\nTo understand the seismic geometries and attributes assist in the interpretation of carbonates\nTo understand the application of various petrographic and analytical techniques to solving reservoir quality issues in carbonates\n\nEndorsed By:\n \n\nFor further information of this course\, please email to info@opuskinetic.com
