SUMMARY:Decommissioning of Offshore Oil and Gas Installations
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nDecommissioning offshore Oil and Gas installations are an inevitable part of the ‘Life of Field’ activities. This offshore installation decommissioning training carries a multi-billion $ cost with no commercial return. This training course is essential to all those involved in decommissioning who need to be aware of their obligations and liabilities for decommissioning and how best to manage those such that opportunities can be realized\, and overall costs reduced. This will provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of offshore decommissioning from late-life operations\, through to planning\, estimating\, preparation\, execution and closeout. \n\n\n\n\nDecommissioning offshore oil and gas infrastructure involves permanently sealing wells to prevent any remaining hydrocarbons from leaking into the sea or migrating between rock layers. It also includes the removal of offshore structures from the marine environment\, aiming to leave a clean seabed wherever technically feasible\, environmentally advantageous\, and with minimal risk to personnel involved in the process. Aside from long-term environmental monitoring\, decommissioning marks the final stage in the lifecycle of an oil and gas production facility. The forementioned will be covered in this offshore installation decommissioning training. \n\nOpus Kinetic is also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\nEngineers/Managers of the following job titles: \n\nConstruction\nDecommissioning\nHSE\nFront End Engineering\nMarine Safety\nOffshore Installation\nProject Quality\nProject Engineering\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nGain a detailed understanding of all aspects of decommissioning\nA rare learning experience through real-life decommissioning related exercises and case studies\nInteraction with other professionals\nOpportunity to hear how decommissioning challenges are managed internationally\nOpportunity to see and discuss future changes and technologies for decommissioning\nGain an understanding of the decommissioning market and influences\nIdentifying decommissioning opportunities\nAbility to identify and mitigate decommissioning risks and issues\nLearn how to develop a decommissioning strategy\nOpportunity to learn\, adapt or improve current skill-set\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Decom Cost Training: Managing and Minimising Decommissioning & Abandonment Cost Liabilities
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nDecommissioning Liabilities are clearly an unwanted burden on the Company Balance Sheet\, but it should be appreciated that spending little effort on investigating their true extent carries a significant risk that actual costs will be much higher than necessary. Early investigation of likely costs allows key cost drivers to be identified and action taken to minimise both projected and the actual cost to the short- and long-term benefit of the business. \nBuilt on significant practitioner experience in this area with several majors\, and smaller\, Oil and Gas Operators\, this course will introduce and demonstrate good practices designed to highlight how to manage the uncertainties inherent in decommissioning and abandonment operations. \nThe decom cost training course is designed to provide attendees with the ability to improve the quality of provisioning management with the aim of managing financial planning and reducing actual costs and the likelihood of unexpected cost overruns. \nWho Should Attend\nThis decom cost training course is designed for: \n\nFinancial Managers who are accountable for financial provisioning for future Decommissioning.\nAsset Managers who are responsible for budgeting of Decommissioning and Abandonment Operations.\nWell Engineers and Team Leaders who are responsible for compiling Cost Estimates.\nGovernment Regulators and Industry Stakeholders who are keen to understand how costs can be predicted and controlled.\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nThis decom cost training course will provide attendees with: \n\nA strategic appreciation of the risks of poor liability estimates.\nTechniques to minimise the impact of increases in liability estimates.\nAn understanding of how to manage and ensure adoption of Good Practises including:\n\nThe various classes and types of estimates\, and when and how to use them.\nThe key elements required to build a comprehensive Basis of Estimate.\nThe ability to build and contrast probabilistic and deterministic estimates.\n\n\nAppreciation of the strategic importance of identifying and managing risk related to decommissioning and abandonment scopes\, including:\nUnderstanding of how to compile a Risk Register and how to use one to manage and minimise cost risk.\n\nCombining these will allow attendees to appreciate the strategic importance of both recognising liabilities at an early stage and of good quality\, early cost estimation\, targeted at driving down future costs and current provisions. \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n SUMMARY:Managing Project Costs and Budget Training
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day project costs and budget training.  The achievement of successful project delivery is directly underpinned by focus and attention on the effective and efficient management of the financial dynamic. The project environment is uncertain\, and project teams must operate\, not only within this uncertainty but also subject to multiple constraints. Understanding that a project is subject to a complex series of interfaces between stakeholders and resources becomes critical. \nAll project activities have a cost\, which may be either direct or indirect. They will all impact upon a projects’ budget from the perspective of consumption – i.e. as the project moves through its lifecycle\, resources are allocated and utilized and money is spent\, the budget\, therefore\, is subject to depletion. It is always a difficult question to determine whether or not a project is a success when it is over budget and late\, yet the deliverables far outlast the original expectation. \nThis project costs and budget training will provide the participant with an effective set of skills and knowledge that will allow them to manage the dynamic project cost function. Through these skills and new knowledge\, the delegate will acquire the ability to implement the application of techniques that will contribute directly to more efficient project financial management processes.\n\nThe course does not focus on number crunching – it is designed to lead the participants on a journey of understanding of the centrality of the cost management function\, to familiarize the participant with the interactions and processes that underpin and ultimately inform the cost-based activities within projects. The delivery is completely interactive and there is a large element of practical exercise that allows participants to grasp the interrelationships between cost; project lifecycle and operational activities. This imparts to participants the wider or ‘holistic’ picture upon which the process of successful project delivery is built. \nWho Should Attend\n\nProject Managers\nCost Estimators\nIndividuals involved with the contractual aspect of projects\nProject finance individuals\nAnyone who wished to gain a deeper understanding of the project cost management function\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nBecome familiar with the integration of cost scheduling into project management processes and procedures\nUnderstand the importance throughout a project lifecycle of the central role and importance of managing costs\nUtilise such techniques as the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); the Work Package and the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)\nEstimate costs and deal with cost escalations and reductions\nApply the basics of managing a project budget\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number.
