SUMMARY:Applied Sedimentology and Clastic Systems for Petroleum Geoscientists
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nSequence stratigraphy has proven useful in the identification of critical elements of the petroleum system: reservoir\, seal and source. This applied sedimentology and clastic systems training course avoids the academic debate on nomenclature and eustasy and focuses upon time-tested methods for hydrocarbon identification and exploitation using well logs\, cores and seismic. Using a large number of real world examples\, participants learn methods applicable to compartments\, fields\, prospects\, plays and basins. Conventional and unconventional reservoirs are considered \nWho Should Attend\nThis applied sedimentology and clastic systems training course has been designed for working geoscientists who wish to learn practical methods that can be used in the workroom and on the workstation. \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nDiscriminate between lithostratigraphy and chronostratigraphy and understand how sequence stratigraphy improves exploration\, development and production success.\nAssemble data for seismic stratigraphic analysis and contribute to planning and implementation of seismic stratigraphic projects to address play element uncertainty.\nDiscuss methods for creating seismic facies maps using workstation seismic interpretation software.\nEvaluate well logs for characteristic patterns indicating system tracts\, sequences and sequence sets and understand differences between low- to high-order.\nAssess stratal terminations to identify and correlate key surfaces (sequence boundaries\, maximum flooding surfaces) on various types and vintage of reflection seismic data.\nIntegrate biostratigraphic and physical stratigraphic observations from well data to establish local/global chronostratigraphic designations of depositional sequences.\nEvaluate and map non-amplitude based seismic facies and combine with isochore and amplitude maps to predict reservoir distribution.\nAssess other key elements of petroleum systems (seal\, source\, and stratigraphic trap) from integration of seismic and well data.\nUnderstand how source to sink analysis (advanced provenance work\, empirical scaling relationships) supplement and enhance the sequence stratigraphic approach to basin analysis.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n PhoneThis field is for SUMMARY:Subsurface Characterization\, Screening and Site Selection for Geologic CO2 Storage Sites
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is a key means of mitigating climate change and is the only option currently available to decarbonize industries such as cement\, steel\, petrochemicals and LNG. As opportunities in oil and gas decline\, they are growing in CCS. Human activities now generate about 35Gt of CO2 (1 gigatonne=1 billion tonnes) per year. At ~$50/ton for sequestration\, the potential opportunity is enormous\, both in new business revenue and in repurposing old assets and delaying decommissioning costs. Mitigation of the worst effects of climate change will require storing billions of tons per year\, with an industry to match. In the US alone\, the National Petroleum Council estimates that CCS could employ ~230\,000 people\, similar to the current oil industry. \nThis subsurface characterization CCUS training course empowers attendees to develop and apply their skills to the growing industry of Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage. SUMMARY:Rail Cyber Security
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThe railway sector is facing a new challenge: the Network Information Security (NIS) regulations. According to a 2020 survey by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)\, only 33% of rail operators of essential services (OES) have fully implemented defensive measures against cyber attacks\, as recommended by NIS regulations. This places their software under serious risk\, not to mention their lack of compliance with the new regulations. \nWhen security breaches occur\, the ripple effect throughout an organisation can be vast\, with consequences that are both financial and personal. There may also be implications concerning system safety and resilience. \nThis rail cybersecurity training is an introduction to the major themes of cybersecurity and will start you on a journey to the creation of a secure rail operation. After taking this course\, you will be able to communicate effectively\, make informed trade-offs\, assess risk\, improve defences\, and reduce vulnerabilities in your systems. \nThis rail cybersecurity training is based upon the new railway cybersecurity-specific CENELEC standards\, TS50701 and best practices from other OT and IT Cybersecurity benchmarks such as ISO27001\, IEC 624423 and the Australian Standard® AS 7770 Rail Cyber Security. \nWho Should Attend\nThis rail cybersecurity training is for railway business leaders\, managers\, railway inspectors\, railway legislators\, safety professionals\, planners\, information technology (IT) professionals\, resilience specialists and railway engineers tasked with making decisions that could impact the cyber resilience of technical and organisational systems. \nThe rail cybersecurity training is focused more towards railway Operational technology (OT)\, although it also covers IT issues\, particularly their security risks and strategies from ISO-27001. No prior knowledge of cybersecurity is required for this course. \nKey Learning Objectives\nThis rail cybersecurity training is based upon the new railway cybersecurity-specific CENELEC standards\, TS50701\, and best practices from other OT and IT Cybersecurity standards such as ISO-27001\, IEC 624423 and the Australian Standard® AS 7770 Rail Cyber Security. \n\nWhat is Cybersecurity? Putting it into the context of railway and transportation\nIdentify threats and vulnerabilities (such as cybersecurity\, safety and availability)\nDevelop mitigation actions for threats and vulnerabilities and recovery from potential consequences\nCybersecurity: What standards are available for dealing with threats\nAn understanding of TS70101 and how it can improve cybersecurity across the entire railway\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n URLThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Company(Required)Current Location(Required) \n \n \n AfghanistanÅland IslandsAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCôte d'IvoireCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRéunionRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTürkiyeTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUS Minor Outlying IslandsUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabwe\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:AML Training: Enhanced Assessment on Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (ML/TF) Risks
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 2-day in-person AML training course. FATF Recommendations and domestic legislation require financial institutions and their supervisors to identify\, assess and understand the ML and TF risks they face and to take effective actions to mitigate those risks. The purpose of these requirements is to focus AML strategies and compliance efforts where the risks are higher\, and at the same time\, to manage more effectively the costs of compliance and to reduce the firm’s exposure to ML and TF risks. \nML and TF risks can be quite diversified and complex as ML and TF techniques continuously evolve\, and their identification and mitigation could be challenging for firms. The costs of compliance are increasing\, and so is the risk of sanctions by supervisors for failure to comply effectively with AML/CFT requirements. International banks are setting the bar high for AML/CFT compliance to establish correspondent banking relationships.\n \nIn light of these challenges\, this AML training aims at providing participants with operational knowledge for identifying and assessing ML and TF risks\, acquiring information on the latest ML and TF trends\, and understanding the best practices in creating strategies and setting up effective risk-based compliance systems that is compliant with both FATF Recommendations and other international best practices. \nWho Should Attend\nPrincipals especially SUMMARY:Ship Stability and Stress for Container Stowage Planners
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 2-days container stowage planner training course. Containerization has changed the way the world perceives shipping. It is now possible to establish complex international supply chains that have minimal shipping costs. Over the past two decades\, the demand for cost efficient containerized transportation has seen a continuous increase. In order to answer to this demand\, shipping companies have deployed bigger container vessels that nowadays can transport up to 18\,000 containers. Container vessels sail from port to port through a fixed route loading and discharging thousands of containers. Before the vessel arrives at port\, it is the job of a stowage coordinator to devise a stowage plan. \nWhen creating stowage plans\, stowage coordinators must make sure that the vessel is stable and seaworthy\, and at the same time arrange the cargo such that the time at port is minimized. These planners need to be trained in taking the right approach to planning cargo stowage for container ships. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\n\nStowage Planners\nTerminal Operators and Planners\nShip Managers and Support Team Members\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nDemonstrate knowledge of hydrostatics\, transverse stability and longitudinal stability: Archimedes Principle\, Law of Floatation\, Forces acting on a vessel\, centre of gravity and centre of buoyancy\nUnderstand the effects of draft and density on displacement of the vessel\, understanding TPC\, FWA.\nUnderstand Load lines and Freeboard\nDetermine transverse stability: Assess initial transverse stability and correction of list\nUnderstand the effects of loading\, discharging and shifting weights on a ship\nDetermine trim and final draughts. SUMMARY:TUV PHRA Training: TÜV Rheinland FS Engineer Process Hazard and Risk Analysis
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis TUV PHRA training course focuses on the early lifecycle phases of hazard and risk analysis up to\, and including\, the development of the Safety Requirements Specification (SRS) for process\, oil & gas\, petrochemical and chemical industries according to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511. \nThis 5-day course comprises 4 days of classroom tuition and practical guidance\, for understanding and mastering the application\, of process hazard analysis and associated risk analysis as required for the early lifecycle phases of Edition 2 IEC 61508 & Edition 2 of IEC 61511 for SIS. We also include many fundamental topics that we know you need to understand\, but are not covered in the standards. Practical exercises will be performed throughout the course based on real-life examples. There is a 5-hour competency examination on the last day. \nWho Should Attend\nProcess Engineers\, Instrument Engineers\, Process Safety and Operations personnel who are involved in maintaining the integrity of their processes\, and are more involved in the early lifecycle phases of functional safety management. \nKey Learning Objectives\nThe topics cover the concepts of identifying hazards using tools such as What-If\, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and HAZard and OPerability (HAZOP). This will be further developed into the analysis of risk and methods of risk reduction to consider the effectiveness of preventative and mitigating layers of protection. The use of preventative safeguarding efficiencies will be introduced for use with the PHA Matrix\, along with the advantages/disadvantages of using the PHA Matrix with different Hazard Analysis methods. \nThe different questioning techniques used by a Hazard study leader to guarantee a systematic study methodology are investigated\, as is the HAZOP flowsheet design\, by considering the use of the HAZOP for specific needs such as LOPA. A LOPA exercise will actually be carried out from the output of the course HAZOP exercise. Consideration of constructing effective nodes will be examined and a better definition will be given to claims of double jeopardy. \nThe TUV PHRA training will introduce participants to the use of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and SIL determination using internationally agreed methods for assessing and quantifying process risk and risk reduction requirements. Delegates will be equipped with the knowledge and methods for undertaking various types of qualitative\, semi-quantified and quantitative risk assessments. \nPractical exercises will be carried out for Semi-Quantitative methods such as risk graph and LOPA. The shortfalls of the quicker methods will be investigated to allow the analyst to appreciate the limitations of screening tools. The most popular semi quantified method\, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)\, will be explored in depth. \nThe effective use of Event Tree Analysis will be looked at in two different forms (Mitigation ETA and Traditional ETA). The TUV PHRA training will focus on how ETA can be used to qualitatively support the analyst in mapping out the various consequences given various events with safeguard success or failure. Analysts can then select those events which generate consequences of interest for which FTA may be required. \nDelegates will also be taken through the requirements for safety management and the framework of a Safety Management System (SMS) for achieving effective process risk management. Best practice for SMS will be investigated with the use of Bow-ties linking the Hazard and its safeguards to the SMS. An insight into how process safety KPIs can be used to better align engineering and management in the prevention of major accident hazards will be covered. \nPartnership\n\n\n\nTUV Rheinland Singapore was founded in 1989 and has been serving the testing and certification needs of Singapore companies for over 20 years. In 2006\, our electrical lab was expanded to fully cover Household\, IT and audio video equipment testing acd to IEC/EN standards. SUMMARY:Process Safety Leadership in High Hazard Facilities
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-days high hazard facilities training. The management of the risks associated with Health\, Safety and Environmental\, HSE threats to a business is becoming increasingly complex and as part of any credible global business\, needs to be managed in a consistent\, systematic manner. It is essential therefore that the leadership team develop the skills needed to influence both the “hearts and minds” of the workforce to deliver HSE management systems for occupational and process safety hazards that consistently ensure risks are controlled to As Low as Is Reasonably Practicable\, ALARP \nBy taking part in this innovative high hazard facilities training\, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of how the leadership team and their management deliver\, through their actions\, a world class performance in HSE. It is important to stress the word actions\, as opposed to simply updating company policies\, procedures or instructions to the workforce\, as being key to creating a best-in-class operational HSE culture. \nAdditionally\, participants will be required to both analyse the leading HSE risks to their company\, as well as being provided with the tools to enhance their organisation’s culture and the risk controls to ensure sustainable change. In particular\, participants will discover the real HSE challenges that face the Executive Management team and their sub-ordinate managers and staff within a global business when developing and operating high hazard facilities. The emphasis of the high hazard facilities training content and breakout sessions will focus on the oil\, gas\, petrochemicals industries\, but is also relevant for other industries\, where major accidents occur such as in the marine\, construction\, rail\, and power generation. \nWho Should Attend\n\nCorporate HSE Directors\, managers and advisors\nOperational HSE managers and advisors\nProcess safety managers and specialists\nAsset integrity managers and engineers\nQuality assurance managers and quality control inspectors\nMaintenance managers and engineers\nCorporate HSE audit Personnel\nPurchasers of HSE Support Services\nProject managers and engineers\nProject compliance engineers\nInsurance managers to the oil and gas industry\nRisk managers\nSpecialists in oil and gas finance\, due diligence\,\nMergers and acquisitions\nBusiness Owners\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nThe key workshop objectives are to provide the basis for the Client to apply best practices used by peer group global companies for maintaining consistent best-in-class HSE Leadership when developing and controlling occupational and major hazard HSE risks\, affecting their direct workforce and contractors\, specifically focused on: \n\nOverview of HSE Leadership principles\nHSE Culture development and enhancement\n“Heart versus the Mind” when changing workforce behaviour.\nHSE Competency management\nThe critical role of frontline supervision as leaders for change\nEvaluation of the degree of alignment in the leadership on HSE risks\nThe influence of people\, process and plant to HSE performance\nThe problems with using Key Performance Indicators to influence behaviour\nThe most and least effective communication methods for the Leadership to influence HSE behaviour\nChanging HSE behaviour after an incident has occurred – the “Just Culture” Model.\nNormalisation of deviations and organizational drift\nTransformational management of HSE\nMaintaining the ethics and business values to drive effective HSE Leadership\n\nThe detailed scope of the high hazard facilities training is described in the “Agenda” section\, covering 10 separate sessions\, including practical case studies to demonstrate the practical implementation issues. A specific session will be undertaken during the masterclass to assess how the leaders view the importance of HSE risks to their company and the degree of control they can exert to change these risks – the “Boston Square” methodology. \nA close-out session will be undertaken in order for the client to identify areas for improvement and to prioritise such actions as necessary to build a world class HSE framework. \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n X/TwitterThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Company(Required)Current Location(Required) \n \n \n AfghanistanÅland IslandsAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCôte d'IvoireCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRéunionRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTürkiyeTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUS Minor Outlying IslandsUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabwe\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Project Risk Management
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is 3-days project risk training course. Projects involve many risks such as cost\, schedule and resources. For example\, you could have a delay in the schedule causing your project to be delayed by two weeks\, and a resource that wasn’t available when you started the project is now available at a lower cost. As a project manager\, you need to be aware of any and all risks that could affect your project. That is why we say project management is opportunity management. It is the ability to seize opportunities\, minimize threats\, and achieve optimum results. \nIn this project risk training course\, you’ll work through the proactive approach to threat and opportunity—based on a clear understanding of the powerful nature of both qualitative and quantitative approaches to risk management. \nRisk Management examines threat and opportunity from both a top-down and bottom-up perspective using a proven eight-step risk management process. Using effective tools\, including a highly regarded risk assessment model\, you’ll learn how to evaluate and respond to risk at the project and task levels. \nBy applying these tools you will be able to identify\, quantify\, control and respond to risk in the context of the project life cycle through a risk management plan. This risk management plan will provide you with the ability to monitor and control risks throughout the execution of the project by identifying new risks\, reassessing existing risks\, and monitoring risk triggers. \nYou’ll end the project risk training course with new practices to apply in your environment and new insights on the implications and advantages of applying risk management well. \n \nThis course is approved by PMI for 24 PDUs \nOpus Kinetic is also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK \nWho Should Attend\nMDs\, VPs\, Directors\, GMs\, CFOs\, COOs\, Financial
