SUMMARY:Mooring Systems for Floating Drilling and Production Operations
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day training course. Floating structures are becoming more common with the increasing number of oil discoveries made in deeper waters and hence a steady rise in the demand for new floating platforms such as FPSO\, TLP\, Semi-submersible and Spar. A key element for these floating platforms is the mooring system\, and the design\, operation\, installation\, inspection and maintenance for the mooring systems are very demanding and challenging tasks faced by the industry. There is a strong need for those working in the offshore industry to develop in depth understanding of the key mooring issues to carry out their work. This short course is offered to meet this need. \nThis short course begins with a broad view on floating drilling and production operations\, followed by a few supporting areas such as floating vessel\, riser\, environmental criteria and loads. Then more detailed presentations and discussions are given to the mooring issues such as system overview\, mooring components\, anchor system\, mooring analysis\, installation\, and inspection. The teaching methods include Power Point and video presentations\, class discussions\, and group class projects to provide the best learning process. Copies of the Power Point presentations and some class notes for the key mooring issues will be provided for future reference. \nWho Should Attend\nThis course is recommended for all personal involved with an FPSO project\, whether new to the industry or whose area of responsibility have increased as well as experienced professionals who want to refresh their overall knowledge of the entire FPSO project process. \n\nConceptual Design Engineers\nDevelopment Engineers\nFPSO Project Managers\nEngineering & Integration Managers\nNaval Architects\nOperations Managers\nProcess Engineers\nOffshore Installation Managers\nProject Managers\nStructural Engineers\nInstallation Engineers\nCivil Engineers\nFlowline/Pipeline Engineers\nFacility Engineers\nSubsea Engineers\nEngineering Managers\nEngineers and operating personnel for MODUs (Mobile Offshore Drilling Units)\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nA key requirement for a mooring system is its ability to keep on station to allow risers and flowlines to receive and export fluids in various weather conditions with minimal downtime. However\, unplanned interruptions to production sometimes occur due to deficiencies in the mooring ranging from failures of mooring components to overloading or fatigue failures. Such failures are economically costly. With the current trend moving into deeper and deeper water\, it is more important than ever to minimize the incidence of technical failures\, production interruptions\, and downtime. It is important that those who influence or make decisions on field development options and operations appreciate the technology and the significance of the key aspects of mooring systems for floating structures \nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Effective Well Integrity Management along Well Integrity Forum (WIF) Guidelines
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nWell Integrity Management should have the highest priority and attention in each E&P Company. It is simply about protecting the most valuable Asset of the Company\, preventing costly environmental incidents and whilst protecting the Operators reputation\, it is securing extension of Production licenses and/or securing future licenses; being the Operator of Choice. \nIt therefore makes full sense to invest in the right equipment in design for sustained integrity\, have the correct management processes in place and a competent Well Integrity Team. \nThe Well Integrity discipline is to be a career development step for engineers in the organisation. It needs to be part of the skill profile of each manager in Wells\, Production Operations and Petroleum Engineering discipline group. \nOn a Global level\, there are very little official Policies and Guidelines for Well Integrity Management. Most such documents reside with the Operators\, whilst most Government do not have Governance\, nor the competence to enforce. This Class teaches staff to become competent in the Well Integrity Management. The Class follows the Norwegian Petroleum Authority’s Well Integrity Forum’s advised curriculum. It finishes with an exam and upon passing the candidate receives a certificate® of competence in Well Integrity design and management issued by Lowlands Management Consultancy \nBenefits Of Attending\n\nDiscuss and teach completion design topics to create an “integer” well with lowest life cycle maintenance cost from a WIM prospective\nGet familiarise with concepts and principles of Well Integrity Management system and identify roles and responsibility in the organization\nAnalyse well integrity failure modes\, its effects and mitigating actions.\nDetermine management system to follow up the well integrity issues emerging from tests in the field\nExplore different techniques to prevent internal and external well integrity issues like corrosion\nDevelop preventive maintenance strategies to manage the well integrity issues\n\nWho Should Attend\nPersonnel directly responsible and or involved in Well Integrity are to have the recommended training. \n\nWell Integrity team members.\nNOC Well Integrity enforcing Authorities\nSenior Production operation personnel OIM\, production managers\, Field coordinators\nDrilling/completion/intervention engineers.\nService-company Sr field engineers and operators with delegated responsibilities in well integrity\n\n  \nEndorsed By: \n \nFor further information of this course\, please email to info@opuskinetic.com

SUMMARY:Completion and Well Intervention (C&WI) for Non-Specialists
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nCompletion and Well Intervention are the engineering and operational steps from designing and installing a completion in a well up to performing interventions in the producing wells to maintain and restore its oil and gas production. \nThe C&WI is a very specialised field\, with a lot of special and dedicated equipment. The application of this special equipment\, its restrictions and the terminology is often alien to the Target group. \nThe Class addresses the gap in knowledge and teaches this Group to better understand C&WI equipment\, the job design and type of operations. \nThe Class material touches all C&WI operations\, the equipment used\, the strengths and limitations of it\, but does not aim at teaching all detailed capabilities of it. It is not intended at creating C&WI specialists. \nBenefits Of Attending\n\nUnderstand exploration activities\nExplore how to connect the reservoir to the production facilities\nLearn about well structure and well conduit\nUnderstand how to have access to the reservoir from the well bore\nLearn sand control measures and recovery methods\nGet knowledge on artificial lift completions\, and other production issues\nLearn intervention technologies such as coil tubing\, slickline\, electric wireline\, snubbing unit etc\nObtain knowledge on pumping operations\, annulus integrity testing and well head maintenance\n\nWho Should Attend\nStaff for instance in the HSE discipline\, Procurement\, Finance and HR are all exposed to C&WI terminology that does not necessarily make sense to them. Developing their skill level on this subject will enhance their functioning and improve performance knowing what it is about.  Other relevant job titles include: \n\nProduction operations engineers\nYoung graduates in production technology\nOperation engineers\nOperational HSE advisors\nReservoir engineers\nFresh well services engineers\nFinance staff involved in the accounting and cost allocation activities of the C&WI team\n\n\n\n  \nEndorsed By: \n\n \n\n\n\n\nFor further information of this course\, please email to info@opuskinetic.com
