SUMMARY:Effective Incident Investigation and Reporting
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nInvestigating a worksite incident – a fatality\, injury\, illness\, or close call – provides employers and workers the opportunity to identify hazards in their operations and shortcomings in their safety and health programs. Most importantly\, it enables employers and workers to identify and implement the corrective actions necessary to prevent future incidents.  \nIncident investigations that focus on identifying and correcting root causes\, not on finding fault or blame\, also improve workplace morale and increase productivity\, by demonstrating an employer’s commitment to a safe and healthful workplace. \nThis course provides the delegates with an overview of incident investigation. The motivation for this course is to outline a procedure of incident investigation that is objective and satisfies most regulatory requirements. The aim is to learn the lessons\, determine the root cause of the incident and develop effective measures to avoid such incidents in future.  \nWho Should Attend\n\nO&M (Operations and Maintenance) professionals who are keen to attain a holistic and integrated overview of incident investigation and reporting\nHSE Staff\, Support Functions Professionals\, Administration Managers\, Procurement Managers\, Finance Executives\, Corporate Services Executives\nLabor Union representatives\nERM (Enterprise Risk Management) Professionals\nCorporate Planning Professionals\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nAt the end of this four day program\, participants will be able to: \n\nAchieve a comprehensive overview of incident investigation and reporting\nLearn how to use effective investigation and interviewing techniques to gather complete\, objective and accurate data\nDevelop understanding of how to analyzing incidents to identify root causes\nGet awareness about the human relations aspects of incident reporting\nDetermine which data to include in investigation reports\nDevelop understanding of Hazard control measures and follow-up\n\n  \nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n PhoneEmail\n \n CompanyAdditional Comments:CAPTCHA

SUMMARY:Ship Shore Safety Checklist Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nIn June 2020\, the 6th edition of the International Safety Guide for Tankers and Terminal was published\, replacing the 5th edition of 2006. In 14 years\, much has changed about the ship/terminal interface concerning HSEQ. Different views by experience have been developed into updated rules\, guidelines and regulations world-wide. The new Ship/Shore Safety Checklist (SSSCL) should be implemented and used from January 01\, 2021 onwards. \nThis new checklist consists of various parts that should be understood in relation to Part 4 on the Management of the Ship/Shore Interface focusing on communication and information sharing. We offer you this comprehensive one (1) day SSSCL training program which can be taken online at any convenient date and time. It can also be organised at your terminal worldwide subject to Covid 19\, travel restrictions. \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n PhoneEmail\n \n CompanyAdditional Comments:CAPTCHA

SUMMARY:Cyber Security for Non-Technical Personnel
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nEvery week we read about yet another cyber (or more accurately: information) security breach where thousands of\nsensitive or confidential records have been stolen. According to a recent study into the cost of data breaches\, the average cost of such a breach is US$158 per client/customer record. For health care organizations the cost is a staggering $355\, and many health care organisations have been breached two or more times! Considering the huge number of records stolen\, the total average cost of a data breach presently works out to around US$4 million\, and many organizations\, especially small to medium ones\, don’t survive. It’s estimated up to 60% go out of business. \nBoard and senior management of many organizations don’t have a realistic view of these dangers\, or how vulnerable their organizations are. For example\, 83% of respondents to an information security survey said: “their organization’s valuable assets are covered by video surveillance”. At the same time\, a recent US boardroom study found that “over 91% of high vulnerable board members said they couldn’t read a cybersecurity report and are not prepared to handle a major attack”. \nThis course looks at the business side of information security. It takes delegates through a non-technical journey of\nthe world of hacking\, vulnerabilities\, data breaches\, etc. It highlights the origins of information security and looks at the many and varied ways in which hackers conduct cyber-attacks on vulnerable organizations & individuals. Most importantly it identifies just who are the main perpetrators\, some of whom will surprise. \nDelegates will learn how to set up defences against these attacks using SIEM (Security Information and Event\nManagement) principles\, particularly:\n• How to use risk management in an information security environment;\n• How to set up information security policies for their organization;\n• How to set up an Information Security Strategic Plan;\n• How to set up Security Incident Response Plan & Team. \nThe seminar draws on the instructor’s vast experience in the Information Technology field over the last 40 plus years\, and particularly in area of Information Security over the last fifteen years. The strategies\, tools & techniques outlined during the seminar are based on real-world examples. By the end of the seminar\, delegates will be able to take them back to their organization and begin using them to immediately build their defences against cyber attacks. \nWho Should Attend\n This course is designed for non-technical people who need to understand (or at the very least want to be aware of) the risks and responsibilities of their organisation with respect to information security. In particular\, anyone who is responsible for information security compliance or assurance will benefit from attending. \nAny manager who has responsibility for managing any part of their organisation that handles information\, especially\nsensitive or confidential client information\, should attend this course. In addition\, all IT professionals\, regardless of their job function\, should attend this course to gain a full appreciation of the dangers of weak or inadequate cyber -security\, both from an organizational point of view as well as at an individual level. \nThe following people will particularly benefit from this course:\n• All “C” level executives\n• Chief Information Security Officer\n• Information / Data Security Officers\n• Customer Service Managers\n• Product Managers\n• Project Managers\n• Technical Support / Customer Support Managers\n• Business Development Managers\, especially those in the following industries:\no Banks\no Insurance\no Telecommunications\no Health-related services including Hospitals\, Health care providers\, Health Care insurance\no Oil & Gas\no Logistics & Transportation\no Government Agencies / Ministries \n  \nKey Learning Objectives\n\n• Learn the many and varied types of cyber attacks that can occur in your environment\, both at an organizational level as individually\n• Understand the costs & effects (sometimes disastrous) that cyber attacks can have on your organisation or you\n• Identify where you and your organisation are most vulnerable to cyber attack (you may be surprised) – and how to guard against them\n• Learn how to educate senior management and your board in the importance of good information security – the IT\nGovernance standard\n• Guard against cyber-attacks through good risk management – use the standard!\n• See how to build a strong information security perimeter to guard your most valuable assets – your personal/customer/client information\n• Learn how to think like a hacker and build an effective Information Security Plan\n• Recognise the importance of a good Security Incident Response Plan and learn how to prepare one.\n• Plan an effective defence against a cyber attack – Monitor\, Detect\, Analyse\, Respond\, Resolve & Review \n \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n PhoneEmail\n \n CompanyAdditional Comments:CAPTCHA
