SUMMARY:Advanced Process Safety Considerations for Hydrogen Projects
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis in-depth technical hydrogen process safety course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of hydrogen’s unique hazardous properties and the critical safety considerations required in the design\, execution\, and operation of hydrogen-related projects. \nHydrogen presents distinctive challenges compared to other flammable gases\, such as natural gas. This hydrogen process safety course explores these differences in detail—covering aspects such as hydrogen’s flammability range\, low ignition energy\, and implications in the event of loss of containment. Participants will gain insight into hydrogen’s material compatibility issues and how these impact equipment selection and system design. \nThis hydrogen process safety initiative focuses on ensuring hydrogen safety across its lifecycle. It involves identifying and assessing associated hazards\, then implementing appropriate mitigation measures during both design and operation phases. A core component is interpreting and applying relevant hydrogen safety standards and codes to enhance operational safety practices within hydrogen facilities and projects. \nThrough case studies drawn from across the hydrogen value chain—from production and storage to transport and usage—participants will learn from real-world incidents and safety practices. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\nThis course is particularly beneficial for professionals involved in the technical\, operational\, or regulatory aspects of hydrogen systems\, including: \n\nEngineers and project managers working on hydrogen infrastructure and energy systems\nScientists and technologists developing hydrogen applications or conducting R&D\nHealth\, Safety\, and Environment (HSE) professionals\nRegulators and industry body representatives focused on hydrogen safety standards\nPlant managers and technologists operating hydrogen-handling installations\n\nKey SUMMARY:Rail Cyber Security
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThe railway sector is facing a new challenge: the Network Information Security (NIS) regulations. According to a 2020 survey by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)\, only 33% of rail operators of essential services (OES) have fully implemented defensive measures against cyber attacks\, as recommended by NIS regulations. This places their software under serious risk\, not to mention their lack of compliance with the new regulations. \nWhen security breaches occur\, the ripple effect throughout an organisation can be vast\, with consequences that are both financial and personal. There may also be implications concerning system safety and resilience. \nThis rail cybersecurity training is an introduction to the major themes of cybersecurity and will start you on a journey to the creation of a secure rail operation. After taking this course\, you will be able to communicate effectively\, make informed trade-offs\, assess risk\, improve defences\, and reduce vulnerabilities in your systems. \nThis rail cybersecurity training is based upon the new railway cybersecurity-specific CENELEC standards\, TS50701 and best practices from other OT and IT Cybersecurity benchmarks such as ISO27001\, IEC 624423 and the Australian Standard® AS 7770 Rail Cyber Security. \nWho Should Attend\nThis rail cybersecurity training is for railway business leaders\, managers\, railway inspectors\, railway legislators\, safety professionals\, planners\, information technology (IT) professionals\, resilience specialists and railway engineers tasked with making decisions that could impact the cyber resilience of technical and organisational systems. \nThe rail cybersecurity training is focused more towards railway Operational technology (OT)\, although it also covers IT issues\, particularly their security risks and strategies from ISO-27001. No prior knowledge of cybersecurity is required for this course. \nKey Learning Objectives\nThis rail cybersecurity training is based upon the new railway cybersecurity-specific CENELEC standards\, TS50701\, and best practices from other OT and IT Cybersecurity standards such as ISO-27001\, IEC 624423 and the Australian Standard® AS 7770 Rail Cyber Security. \n\nWhat is Cybersecurity? SUMMARY:Human Factor Training: Integrating Human Factors into the Design and Operations Risk Framework
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day face-to-face human factor training course. In order to integrate human factors into an effective framework for managing risk in hazardous industries\, companies need to address several key questions: \n\nHow do we build a sustainable operating culture to deliver consistent behaviours within our employees\, suppliers and contractors?\nWhat is required as regards demonstrating how human factors and the associated risks are delivered to the satisfaction of regulators who adopt a Safety Case regime?\nHow can we mitigate human error in design and operations\, by the application of best practice evaluation tools such as Safety Critical Task Analysis?\nHow can an organization build resilience to recover from a catastrophic event?\n\nParticipants will discover the real challenges that face the Executive Management team and their senior HSE design and operations’ professionals\, in building the organizational capabilities necessary to reduce the risk associated with human competence weaknesses to As Low as Is Reasonably Practicable\, ALARP. \nThe key industry sectors covered will be the upstream\, midstream and downstream oil\, gas\, petrochemicals and related business segments. However\, given the nature of major accidents\, the course is equally useful to senior professionals in the power\, nuclear\, railway and aviation industries. \nThe human factor training course will describe the best practices in the development of competency management systems and how management can identify the types of human error and pre-conditions that increase the likelihood of error occurrence. The human factor training will also cover several critical design and analysis tools that must be applied such that the ergonomic aspects of the human-machine interface are engineered to promote consistent safe behaviour. \nOrganisational cultural models and behaviours surveys will be described such that management may benchmark their business against the cultural maturity model. In addition\, the principle characteristics of what are termed High-Reliability Organisations\, HROs will be explored. Such HRO principles are applied in complex high hazard industries such as the military aviation and nuclear submarine sectors. \nA key aspect in promoting positive behaviours stems from the actions of leadership teams in the company and the best practice leadership approaches\, including the effective use of management site visits to reinforce the quality\, safety and reliability performance within their area of control will be explored. \nA further critical area to be covered will be the training of indigenous staff to operate high hazard facilities in developing countries\, which is critical to being awarded contracts and to continue to establish their business in e.g. Africa\, Asia and the Middle East. \nAt the end of this wide-ranging and human factor training\, participants will be able to re-assess their own companies’ strengths and weaknesses in developing the capabilities and behaviours needed to maximise profitability and safety\, within ever more complex technology and enhanced stakeholder expectations. \nWho Should Attend\nThe human factor training course is aimed at people who wish to attend the course and put into practice the key tools of managing human factors in their company. SUMMARY:Hydrogen and Carbon Capture & Storage Technology Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nCarbon capture and storage (CSS) is seen by many as a necessary transition technology whilst the world builds out the renewable energy system. And this is not limited to power generation.\nToday\, more than 95% of the world’s hydrogen is made from fossil fuels (coal and natural gas)\, so CCS can play a significant role in reducing the CO2 emissions related to this production. With the hydrogen sector expected to grow exponentially across the globe in the coming years\, it has become a necessary innovation. \nFor example\, the United Kingdom (UK) recently set a target to produce five gigawatts of hydrogen by 2030\, representing a 40-fold increase from the current situation. This ambition is replicated worldwide where national hydrogen strategies\, often explicitly citing the need for decarbonising industrial sectors such as construction\, steel and cement\, have appeared regularly\nover the past year. \nThe journey to a new\, low-emission energy system will be challenging and require much innovation. This momentum towards netzero continues to build\, calling for many industrial sectors to find ways of decarbonising their operations. Hydrogen is likely to play a significant role\, especially in sectors where eliminating emissions is particularly difficult. Early engagement with those low- or zero-emission projects will enable fast movers to reap the maximum from the opportunity presented. \nThis hydrogen CCS training course aims to provide a practical guide to enable companies to make informed decisions and plans based on the real opportunities that are emerging as the global CCS sector develops. Delegates will be guided to where early opportunities are most likely to lie\, who is involved and how to get in front of them. \nWho Should Attend\n\nExisting energy companies particularly those who are already part of the engineering\, oil and gas\, steel\, construction and shipbuilding oil and gas supply chain and those looking to future-proof their capabilities\nThe CCS clusters who well-placed to drive the regional industries forward\, often including a significant hydrogen\ncomponent\nThose with steelmaking\, shipping\, construction and automotive interests\nCompanies seeking to enter the CCS sector and wider hydrogen value chain with its myriad opportunities in a market\nvalued in the billions of dollars\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nWhat is carbon capture and storage (CSS)?\nCarbon capture by emission sources and fundamental approaches: pre- and post-combustion\, oxyfuel\, and industrial processes\nOverview of current technologies applied (how to remove the CO2 from process streams\, solvents\, amines)\nEvaluation of technologies: techno-commercial (including licensors)\nCost structure\, learning curves: challenges and opportunities\nCCS business models\, CO2 pricing and negative emissions\nCCS projects: overview\, discussion and deep dives into case studies\nH+CCS and other paths in the energy transition\nPolicy and regulatory perspectives: global initiatives and national nuances\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n X/TwitterThis field is for validation purposes and should be left SUMMARY:Hydrogen Shipping
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThe hydrogen transportation sector is expected to grow significantly across the globe in the coming years. The EU\, for example\, represents a 40-fold increase within nine years for that sector. Pipelines are planned\, but shipping infrastructure will be vital for green hydrogen. The UK is looking to repurpose the infrastructure\, for offshore wind and use depleted gas and oil\nreservoirs to sequester CO2 captured from hydrogen produced in emerging energy clusters across the UK. \nThe journey to a renewable\, circular and low-carbon economy (facilitated by electrons\, hydrogen and other technologies)\, will be challenging. And the top priority will be to make sure it is implemented and delivered safely. \nHydrogen Shipping course details how global shipping and financial leaders can assist. Developers and stakeholders require their people and supply chain to possess the necessary awareness\, know-how\, skills and competencies to deliver shipping\, portage\, CCS and hydrogen projects safely\, on time and with the highest quality standards. \nThis hydrogen shipping training aims to enable companies and stakeholders to be aware of the fundamentals of shipping for hydrogen. What is it\, and what does it mean for the future? What decisions and plans are likely to be made based on the real opportunities that are emerging? Participants will be guided as to where early opportunities are most likely to lie\, who is involved and how to engage. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\n\nExisting companies\, particularly those who are already part of the hydrogen or renewables supply chains and those looking to future-proof their capabilities\nProject developers seeking to decarbonise and source\nFinanciers and the construction industry\nOil and gas majors\nOEM’s and balance of plant organisations\n\nThis hydrogen shipping training course is also helpful for engineering companies\, those involved in storage compression equipment and shipping\, and those seeking to enter the energy arena with its myriad shipping opportunities in a market set for exponential growth. Taking this course will also benefit stakeholders from government\, finance and consenting and those\nwishing to understand the realities of CCS and hydrogen production. \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nLearn about technologies for developing hydrogen and green shipping\, the associated value chain\, and the role they play in achieving net zero\nUnderstand the practical risks and opportunities related to hydrogen and green shipping\nIdentify the challenges of shipping hydrogen\, ammonia\, and methanol\nRecognize the differing perspectives of investors\, operators\, customers\, and governments\nExplore the applications and commercial considerations for hydrogen in shipping\, vessels\, and ports\, alongside carbon capture\, and how they integrate into new mega projects.\nDiscover the characteristics that both broaden and constrain the commercial and technical links in the hydrogen shipping supply chain\nUnderstand the integration of vessels\, ports\, and shipping with hydrogen production and global distribution.\nLearn from real-world projects that integrate shipping and hydrogen.\nReview broader financial considerations in transportation.\n\nEnquiry It is important to stress the word actions\, as opposed to simply updating company policies\, procedures or instructions to the workforce\, as being key to creating a best-in-class operational HSE culture. \nAdditionally\, participants will be required to both analyse the leading HSE risks to their company\, as well as being provided with the tools to enhance their organisation’s culture and the risk controls to ensure sustainable change. In particular\, participants will discover the real HSE challenges that face the Executive Management team and their sub-ordinate managers and staff within a global business when developing and operating high hazard facilities. The emphasis of the high hazard facilities training content and breakout sessions will focus on the oil\, gas\, petrochemicals industries\, but is also relevant for other industries\, where major accidents occur such as in the marine\, construction\, rail\, and power generation. \nWho Should Attend\n\nCorporate HSE Directors\, managers and advisors\nOperational HSE managers and advisors\nProcess safety managers and specialists\nAsset integrity managers and engineers\nQuality assurance managers and quality control inspectors\nMaintenance managers and engineers\nCorporate HSE audit Personnel\nPurchasers of HSE Support Services\nProject managers and engineers\nProject compliance engineers\nInsurance managers to the oil and gas industry\nRisk managers\nSpecialists in oil and gas finance\, due diligence\,\nMergers and acquisitions\nBusiness Owners\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nThe key workshop objectives are to provide the basis for the Client to apply best practices used by peer group global companies for maintaining consistent best-in-class HSE Leadership when developing and controlling occupational and major hazard HSE risks\, affecting their direct workforce and contractors\, specifically focused on: \n\nOverview of HSE Leadership principles\nHSE Culture development and enhancement\n“Heart versus the Mind” when changing workforce behaviour.\nHSE Competency management\nThe critical role of frontline supervision as leaders for change\nEvaluation of the degree of alignment in the leadership on HSE risks\nThe influence of people\, process and plant to HSE performance\nThe problems with using Key Performance Indicators to influence behaviour\nThe most and least effective communication methods for the Leadership to influence HSE behaviour\nChanging HSE behaviour after an incident has occurred – the “Just Culture” Model.\nNormalisation of deviations and organizational drift\nTransformational management of HSE\nMaintaining the ethics and business values to drive effective HSE Leadership\n\nThe detailed scope of the high hazard facilities training is described in the “Agenda” section\, covering 10 separate sessions\, including practical case studies to demonstrate the practical implementation issues. A specific session will be undertaken during the masterclass to assess how the leaders view the importance of HSE risks to their company and the degree of control they can exert to change these risks – the “Boston Square” methodology. \nA close-out session will be undertaken in order for the client to identify areas for improvement and to prioritise such actions as necessary to build a world class HSE framework. \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n PhoneThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Company(Required)Current Location(Required) \n \n \n AfghanistanÅland IslandsAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCôte d'IvoireCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRéunionRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTürkiyeTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUS Minor Outlying IslandsUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabwe\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:TUV PHRA Training: TÜV Rheinland FS Engineer Process Hazard and Risk Analysis
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis TUV PHRA training course focuses on the early lifecycle phases of hazard and risk analysis up to\, and including\, the development of the Safety Requirements Specification (SRS) for process\, oil & gas\, petrochemical and chemical industries according to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511. \nThis 5-day course comprises 4 days of classroom tuition and practical guidance\, for understanding and mastering the application\, of process hazard analysis and associated risk analysis as required for the early lifecycle phases of Edition 2 IEC 61508 & Edition 2 of IEC 61511 for SIS. We also include many fundamental topics that we know you need to understand\, but are not covered in the standards. Practical exercises will be performed throughout the course based on real-life examples. There is a 5-hour competency examination on the last day. \nWho Should Attend\nProcess Engineers\, Instrument Engineers\, Process Safety and Operations personnel who are involved in maintaining the integrity of their processes\, and are more involved in the early lifecycle phases of functional safety management. \nKey Learning Objectives\nThe topics cover the concepts of identifying hazards using tools such as What-If\, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and HAZard and OPerability (HAZOP). This will be further developed into the analysis of risk and methods of risk reduction to consider the effectiveness of preventative and mitigating layers of protection. The use of preventative safeguarding efficiencies will be introduced for use with the PHA Matrix\, along with the advantages/disadvantages of using the PHA Matrix with different Hazard Analysis methods. \nThe different questioning techniques used by a Hazard study leader to guarantee a systematic study methodology are investigated\, as is the HAZOP flowsheet design\, by considering the use of the HAZOP for specific needs such as LOPA. A LOPA exercise will actually be carried out from the output of the course HAZOP exercise. Consideration of constructing effective nodes will be examined and a better definition will be given to claims of double jeopardy. \nThe TUV PHRA training will introduce participants to the use of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and SIL determination using internationally agreed methods for assessing and quantifying process risk and risk reduction requirements. Delegates will be equipped with the knowledge and methods for undertaking various types of qualitative\, semi-quantified and quantitative risk assessments. \nPractical exercises will be carried out for Semi-Quantitative methods such as risk graph and LOPA. The shortfalls of the quicker methods will be investigated to allow the analyst to appreciate the limitations of screening tools. The most popular semi quantified method\, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)\, will be explored in depth. \nThe effective use of Event Tree Analysis will be looked at in two different forms (Mitigation ETA and Traditional ETA). The TUV PHRA training will focus on how ETA can be used to qualitatively support the analyst in mapping out the various consequences given various events with safeguard success or failure. Analysts can then select those events which generate consequences of interest for which FTA may be required. \nDelegates will also be taken through the requirements for safety management and the framework of a Safety Management System (SMS) for achieving effective process risk management. Best practice for SMS will be investigated with the use of Bow-ties linking the Hazard and its safeguards to the SMS. An insight into how process safety KPIs can be used to better align engineering and management in the prevention of major accident hazards will be covered. \nPartnership\n\n\n\nTUV Rheinland Singapore was founded in 1989 and has been serving the testing and certification needs of Singapore companies for over 20 years. In 2006\, our electrical lab was expanded to fully cover Household\, IT and audio video equipment testing acd to IEC/EN standards. In 2007 we achieved accreditation Singapore Accreditation Council for our certification department. In 2009\, we were recognized as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) by SPRING Singapore\, which enables us to issue the Singapore safety mark to goods that are controlled by the government. Currently we offer Product Safety Testing and Certification\, Management Systems Certification\, Training\, CDM and Third party Inspections for Industrial projects. \n\n\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n URLThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Company(Required)Current Location(Required) \n \n \n AfghanistanÅland IslandsAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCôte d'IvoireCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRéunionRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTürkiyeTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUS Minor Outlying IslandsUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabwe\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Quantitative Seismic Interpretation
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nAt the end of the quantitative seismic interpretation course participants will have a solid foundation in Quantitative Interpretation concepts\, workflows and data requirements. They will be able to model the seismic response of alternative geological scenario’s\, judge the feasibility of a QI project for a dataset in question and be able to avoid the most common pitfalls. And they can better liaise and collaborate with staff in neighbouring Geoscience (sub)disciplines. Whereas the course does not cover training in the hands-on use of common industry software tools for QI or inversion\, it will provide the necessary foundation required for subsequent use of such tools in a professional manner. \nThe quantitative seismic interpretation course uses a mixture of lectures\, practical exercises and case histories. Use of participants laptops for exercises and WIFI internet access in the classroom is recommended. Participants can bring own cases for discussion. \nThe quantitative seismic interpretation course should be customized to meet the specific background and needs of the participants: focus can be more on fundamentals or more on the advanced application. Topics can be tuned to the geological setting in which participants operate\, and focus on those QI techniques that are most likely to be successful there. The course can be extended with extra time for coaching participants on the application of QI techniques in their own work environment. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\n\nGeologists\nGeophysicists\nPetroleum engineers involved in the processing and interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data.\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nGrasp the fundamental principles of seismic wave propagation\, rock and fluid physics\, and their interaction to understand the basis of QI.\nPerform essential data preparation and conditioning\, including log QC\, seismic-to-well calibration\, and wavelet extraction\, to ensure data readiness for QI workflows.\nApply advanced QI techniques such as AvO (Amplitude versus Offset) analysis and acoustic/elastic inversion to derive rock and fluid properties from seismic data.\nIntegrate QI results into seismically constrained reservoir modeling to create more accurate and predictive subsurface models.\nIdentify specific acquisition and processing requirements that are crucial for high-quality data suitable for robust quantitative interpretation.\n\n  \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n SUMMARY:AML Training: Enhanced Assessment on Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (ML/TF) Risks
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 2-day in-person AML training course. FATF Recommendations and domestic legislation require financial institutions and their supervisors to identify\, assess and understand the ML and TF risks they face and to take effective actions to mitigate those risks. The purpose of these requirements is to focus AML strategies and compliance efforts where the risks are higher\, and at the same time\, to manage more effectively the costs of compliance and to reduce the firm’s exposure to ML and TF risks. \nML and TF risks can be quite diversified and complex as ML and TF techniques continuously evolve\, and their identification and mitigation could be challenging for firms. The costs of compliance are increasing\, and so is the risk of sanctions by supervisors for failure to comply effectively with AML/CFT requirements. International banks are setting the bar high for AML/CFT compliance to establish correspondent banking relationships.\n \nIn light of these challenges\, this AML training aims at providing participants with operational knowledge for identifying and assessing ML and TF risks\, acquiring information on the latest ML and TF trends\, and understanding the best practices in creating strategies and setting up effective risk-based compliance systems that is compliant with both FATF Recommendations and other international best practices. \nWho Should Attend\nPrincipals especially those working in the Financial Industry including both the public sector (financial regulators and supervisors) and private sector (such as Banking\, Insurance\, and Securities) are encouraged and shall benefit by attending this AML training. \nA list of POTENTIAL ATTENDEES\, but not exhaustive\, is laid out below as follow: \n\nFinancial Transaction Regulators / Supervisors\nFinancial Intelligence Managers/Analysts\n\nPolicy Makers\n\nFinancial Institution Directors\n\nFinancial Institution (Senior) Vice Presidents\n\nAML/CFT Policy Analyst\n\nAML/CFT Compliance Analyst\n\nCompliance Manager\n\nCompliance Auditors\n\nRelationship Managers\n\nRisk Managers\n\nPrivate Equity Professionals\nFinancial Lawyers\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nLEARN how to prioritise the various risk\nACQUIRE practical yet effective strategies for identifying and assessing ML/TF risk\nUNDERSTAND ML/TF Risks\nMITIGATE risks based on risk-based approach (RBA)\nENSURE that the AML/CFT regime is adequate to address such risks\nSTRENGTHEN compliance oversight on AML/ CFT policies and coordination\nATTAIN knowledge of the latest trends of Terrorist Financing (TF) and SUMMARY:Advanced Well Plug and Abandonment
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day classroom plug and abandonment training course. Well Abandonment is commonly the largest cost element of decommissioning and often results in significant cost overrun. However\, adoption of good practices and lessons learnt from the growing portfolio of operations completed to date\, have shown significant improvements in job duration and non-productive time. In addition\, lessons learnt in job design can be used to ensure abandonment barrier quality\, minimizing the risk of future environmental impact and liability for costly remedial well re-entry. \nThe course instructor draws on his extensive exposure to well abandonment design\, planning and execution\, bringing experience from projects in the North Sea\, Gulf of Mexico\, SE Asia\, Australia\, Brazil and South Africa. \nThe plug and abandonment course will include real life examples of good and poor practices to highlight how the specific challenges of abandonment can be confidently managed to give high quality isolation barriers while maintaining cost control. \nWho Should Attend\n\nWell Abandonment engineers engaged in design and operations\n\nEngineering and operational team
