SUMMARY:Managing EPC Contracts in the Energy Sector
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-days EPC contracts training. As the Energy industry matures; competition has intensified as organisations seek different ways in which to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. One response to this has been to adopt a form of ‘risk transfer’ via outsourcing to make another party the ‘bearer’ of risk – i.e. appointing a contractor company that offers a ‘one-stop shop’ solution – to undertake the whole scope of a project by being the main contractor and subsequently managing the entire range of sub-contractor agreements to ensure that the deliverable in question is met in its entirety for the client / end user. These types of contract are often referred to as EPC (Engineering; Procurement and Construction contracts)\, whilst another common name for them is ‘Turnkey’ contracts. If the contract can be executed successfully\, the contractor stands to benefit\, whilst if there are problems and delays\, it is the contractor who may find themselves liable for bearing these costs. \nUnfortunately\, given the scale and scope of this species of commercial contract\, there is a great likelihood that most of the ambit of contractual misfortune in terms of breach; delay; quality issues; HSE compliance and local content issues (to name but a few) will manifest at some point during the project’s lifetime. This EPC contracts training course will furnish delegates with a thorough understanding of the key components and their interactions of an EPC contract and will address issues relative to dispute resolution. Focus is on open dialogue and collective problem solving relative to case examples and class exercises. This EPC contracts training course has been designed to provide an immersive\, value adding experience to delegates who attend. \nWho Should Attend\n\nContract personnel/managers / administrators\nProcurement departments\nIndividuals involved in managing project inventories\nIndividuals engaged within risk management\nTeam leaders\nAnyone else wanting to learn more about EPC contracts\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nBecome familiar with the importance of scoping an EPC project correctly both from the client / end user perspective and the contractor.\nHave awareness of the key features and contractual provisions of an EPC contract.\nHave a greater understanding of the dynamic nature of contractual provisions and some of the consequences that arise as a result of them within the commercial world.\nUnderstand how an EPC contract is structured.\nGrasp the fundamentally important aspects of managing risk in an EPC contract.\nBecome familiar with key procurement aspects associated with EPC contracts and projects.\nBe competent in supplier selection and evaluation.\nKnow what to focus on for managing the commercial performance of an EPC contract.\nUnderstand the importance of project change orders and how to efficiently manage change.\nBe competent in managing critical interfaces in power projects such as access to grid; fuel specifications and the commissioning regime.\nUnderstand the requirements and importance for EPC projects efficiency of critical (long) lead items and their impacts\, both positive and potentially negative.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Negotiation Tactics and Strategies for the International Oil & Gas Industry
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day oil and gas negotiation training course. The International Oil and Gas business is defined by a number of key variables along its value chain. Upstream the E&P segment is a high risk\, high investment endeavor\, subject to great uncertainty and long time periods relative to fiscal reward. Midstream storage and transportation is subject to high investment and operating costs\, whilst the downstream sector often requires colossal investment in terms of establishment of infrastructure and the ability to meet daily operating costs. The industry attracts close scrutiny from the global media\, and is subject to the involvement of multiple governments and their laws and regulations\, not only from a financial perspective such as taxation\, but also from other critical issues such as the cost of environmental compliance and health and safety. \nIt is against this background of high stakes with significant consequences for both success and failure\, that the importance of being highly efficient within commercial negotiations becomes of critical value. This oil and gas negotiation training has been specifically developed to provide the delegate with the tools; tactics and strategies to be successful when negotiating\, either alone or as part of a team. This oil and gas negotiation training will give the delegate an entirely new perspective of how to approach the negotiation process and be successful\, utilizing a powerful array of little\, (if known) techniques and proprietary templates. The course is an immersive experience combining open dialogue and problem solving throughout. A key element of this course is an ongoing team based exercise allowing the delegates to practice in real time the different components of the course material. The exercise is progressive and participants will have to think on their feet and will be challenged to find the most efficient settlement \nWho Should Attend\nExecutives wishing to increase their understanding of strategic processes and CSR within the International Oil and Gas Industry \n\nManagement wanting to broaden their overall understanding of the industry\nIndividuals involved with contracts\nSupply chain personnel\nIndividuals interested in understanding the International Oil and Gas Industry that do not work in it.\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nOn completion of this course\, the delegate will: \n\nBe able to evaluate how to approach the negotiation.\nWill understand the importance of due diligence prior to commencement.\nKnow how to ‘scope’ a negotiation\nBe able to evaluate and plan for negotiating in different environments.\nBe able to utilize a structured approach to planning and preparation for a negotiation.\nUnderstand the cultural interface and the critical importance of culture to commercial negotiations.\nGain an enhanced understanding of stress and what it means within the negotiation context.\nBe able to manage conflict efficiently.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Heavy Lift Training Amsterdam: Transport and Lifting Shipping and Offshore
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day heavy lift training held in Amsterdam\, Europe. The efficient and safe execution of lifting and transporting objects that are heavy or awkward in size or shape involves specialized load handling equipment and various different modes of operation. These kind of operations require a thorough understanding of the physics and laws of nature that contribute to the success of such activities. This course is designed for personnel involved in specialized transportation and lifting from contract transport organizations and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to engineering companies and project owners in the oil and gas\, power generation and other plant-environment industries. \nCharacteristic for this  industry is often the absence of standardization across multiple countries or companies. This leads to unique engineering and planning for each project\, a truly indispensable element in projects of this nature. The engineering principles of hydraulic platform trailers like self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs) are delved into along with a variety of other load handling equipment. Heavy lift\, jacking and skidding\, and load-out (roll-on/roll-off) project case studies are utilized for participants to gain a broad understanding of the art and science of specialized transport and heavy lift operation. \nThe knowledge gained in this heavy lifting training in Amsterdam is universally applicable to all specialized transport and heavy lift projects\, not just in Malaysia\, as it SUMMARY:Carbonate Reservoirs Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThe 4-day training course introduces the participants to modern carbonate environments mainly from the Arabian/Persian Gulf and the Caribbean. Discussion of diagenesis explains how carbonate sediment becomes lithified and changed after deposition to provide potential reservoir rocks. Large scale carbonate architectures are discussed and illustrated from a sequence stratigraphic perspective with seismic scale examples. \nThere are numerous illustrations of outcropping carbonates and evaporites from a wide range of depositional settings throughout the Phanerozoic. Porosity and permeability characteristics of carbonates are described. Petrophysical approaches to carbonate reservoir characterization are introduced with emphasis on fracture modelling\, fluid saturation modelling and hydraulic flow units. A selection of carbonate oil and gas models and fields from various parts of the world are discussed. \nWho Should Attend\n\nExploration\, development and production geoscientists\nPetroleum and reservoir engineers\nPetrophysicists\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nINTRODUCE oil and gas professionals to modern carbonate environments\nPROVIDE an insight to the complexity of carbonate depositional systems\, including associated evaporites\nEXPLAIN the susceptibility of carbonates to post-depositional (diagenetic) changes\nEXAMINE petrophysical approaches to carbonate reservoir characterization\nPRESENT worldwide case studies of carbonate models and carbonate oil and gas fields\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Heavy Lift Training: Heavy Transport and Lifting
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day heavy lift training course held in Singapore\, Malaysia\, Perth\, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The efficient and safe execution of lifting and transporting objects that are heavy or awkward in size or shape involves specialized load handling equipment and various different modes of operation. These kinds of operations require a thorough understanding of the physics and laws of nature that contribute to the success of such activities. This heavy lift training is designed for personnel involved in specialized transportation and lifting from contract transport organizations and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to engineering companies and project owners in the oil and gas\, power generation and other plant-environment industries. Heavy lift\, jacking and skidding\, and load-out (roll-on/roll-off) project case studies are utilized for participants to gain a broad understanding of the art and science of specialized transport and SUMMARY:Process Safety Competence Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 4-day process safety training course. Why is Process Safety Competence (PSC) important? Many incidents happen because necessary knowledge or competence is not available at the right time in the right place. PSC often also has a role in ensuring that the correct actions are taken when an incident occurs and may be critical to reducing the impact of the event and preventing escalation. \nA brief literature search on some of the more important process industry incidents quickly found links to PSC in every case: \n\nFlixborough (UK\, 1974): Explosion due to release from a temporary bypass assembly of inadequate design operated by insufficiently competent people (Health and Safety Executive 1975)\nPiper Alpha (UK\, 1988): the public enquiry into the Piper Alpha explosion in 1998 concluded that the operating company failed to ensure that a key supervisor was sufficiently competent in the operation of the PTW [Permit to Work] system\nLongford (Australia\, 1998): Failure to identify hazards and properly train operators. Insufficient understanding led to a critical incorrect valve operation (Hopkins 2000)\nBP Texas City (USA\, 2005): 1.5 Key Technical Findings: …..A lack of supervisory oversight and technically trained personnel during the start-up\, an especially hazardous period…. The operator training program was inadequate\nBuncefield (UK\, 2005): There should be a clear understanding of major accident risks and the safety critical equipment and systems designed to control them……At the core of managing a major hazard business should be clear and positive process safety leadership with board-level involvement and competence to ensure that major hazard risks are being properly managed\n\nProcess safety competence plays a vital role in preventing or mitigating process incidents: \n\nCompetent people are less likely to initiate situations that could lead to an incident\nCompetent people can detect the early signs that an incident is possible and prevent it from occurring\nCompetent people can mitigate the impact of an event to reduce the potential for harm\n\nWho Should Attend\n\nHSE Engineers/Managers\nProcess Safety Engineers/Managers\nTechnical Safety Specialists\nTechnicians\nTechnology Managers\nOperational Leaders and Inspectors\nManagers responsible for the safe operation of facilities\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nEvaluate and optimize your Process Safety Management System (PSM)\nApply best practices for all essential elements\nRecognize Process Hazards and reduce the Risk to acceptable levels with techniques like HAZOP & LOPA\nUnderstand the Legislation on Hazardous Chemicals and assure Compliance\nCreate the desired Safety Culture in your organization.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - SUMMARY:AML Training: Enhanced Assessment on Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (ML/TF) Risks
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 2-day in-person AML training course. FATF Recommendations and domestic legislation require financial institutions and their supervisors to identify\, assess and understand the ML and TF risks they face and to take effective actions to mitigate those risks. The purpose of these requirements is to focus AML strategies and compliance efforts where the risks are higher\, and at the same time\, to manage more effectively the costs of compliance and to reduce the firm’s exposure to ML and TF risks. \nML and TF risks can be quite diversified and complex as ML and TF techniques continuously evolve\, and their identification and mitigation could be challenging for firms. The costs of compliance are increasing\, and so is the risk of sanctions by supervisors for failure to comply effectively with AML/CFT requirements. International banks are setting the bar high for AML/CFT compliance to establish correspondent banking relationships.\n \nIn light of these challenges\, this AML training aims at providing participants with operational knowledge for identifying and assessing ML and TF risks\, acquiring information on the latest ML and TF trends\, and understanding the best practices in creating strategies and setting up effective risk-based compliance systems that is compliant with both FATF Recommendations and other international best practices. \nWho Should Attend\nPrincipals especially SUMMARY:Managing Project Costs and Budget Training
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day project costs and budget training.  The achievement of successful project delivery is directly underpinned by focus and attention on the effective and efficient management of the financial dynamic. The project environment is uncertain\, and project teams must operate\, not only within this uncertainty but also subject to multiple constraints. Understanding that a project is subject to a complex series of interfaces between stakeholders and resources becomes critical. \nAll project activities have a cost\, which may be either direct or indirect. They will all impact upon a projects’ budget from the perspective of consumption – i.e. as the project moves through its lifecycle\, resources are allocated and utilized and money is spent\, the budget\, therefore\, is subject to depletion. It is always a difficult question to determine whether or not a project is a success when it is over budget and late\, yet the deliverables far outlast the original expectation. \nThis project costs and budget training will provide the participant with an effective set of skills and knowledge that will allow them to manage the dynamic project cost function. Through these skills and new knowledge\, the delegate will acquire the ability to implement the application of techniques that will contribute directly to more efficient project financial management processes.\n\nThe course does not focus on number crunching – it is designed to lead the participants on a journey of understanding of the centrality of the cost management function\, to familiarize the participant with the interactions and processes that underpin and ultimately inform the cost-based activities within projects. The delivery is completely interactive and there is a large element of practical exercise that allows participants to grasp the interrelationships between cost; project lifecycle and operational activities. This imparts to participants the wider or ‘holistic’ picture upon which the process of successful project delivery is built. \nWho Should Attend\n\nProject Managers\nCost Estimators\nIndividuals involved with the contractual aspect of projects\nProject finance individuals\nAnyone who wished to gain a deeper understanding of the project cost management function\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nBecome familiar with the integration of cost scheduling into project management processes and procedures\nUnderstand the importance throughout a project lifecycle of the central role and importance of managing costs\nUtilise such techniques as the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); the Work Package and the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)\nEstimate costs and deal with cost escalations and reductions\nApply the basics of managing a project budget\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Planning and Scheduling for Day to Day Maintenance and Turnarounds
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 4-day training shutdown planning training course covering effective maintenance management within chemical plants is a critical feature of plant operation\, both in establishing the conditions for safe ongoing operation of the plant after commissioning and in supporting the commercial success of the business. Many companies focus on the cost of the maintenance organisation\, rather than on the benefits that they can provide\, and in so doing the real potential for maintenance organisations to make significant contributions to business success are often lost. Ultimately\, and assuming that the commercial department is able to sell the product that is produced\, the contribution of a maintenance organisation can most effectively be measured in terms of its ability to generate sustained improvements with time in the total (fixed and variable) cost per unit volume of production. \nThere are a number of drivers which tend to increase the cost of production; certain types of equipment become unreliable with time\, obsolescence is often an issue\, environmental and safety standards are continuing to tighten\, and so on. Of course\, there are many tools and techniques that are available to help. Techniques such as Risk-Based Inspection\, Reliability Centred Maintenance\, and Total Productive Maintenance can all add value if they are used appropriately\, but it is important to remember that the long term aim of plant maintenance is to deliver sustained and continuous reduction in the cost per unit of production\, a point often lost in the mounds of paperwork that can be generated by some of the tools that are provided to help the maintenance engineer in his decision making! It is worth remembering that any debate or decision within the maintenance organisation which does not concern the selection or delivery of maintenance task is unlikely to contribute to improving the overall performance of the business. \nWho Should Attend\nThis shutdown planning training takes delegates through the planning and management phase of both maintenance and project management\, based on best practice. The course is especially useful for Engineering and Project managers\, engineers\, planners\, schedulers\, supervisors\, cost engineers\, Safety/Quality engineers and Operations personnel. \nKey Learning Objectives\n• Improve your company’s approach to planning and scheduling\n• Provide a framework for effective turnaround execution\n• Highlight the unique safety requirements of turnarounds\n• Foster the “one team” approach to turnarounds\n• Provide a comprehensive knowledge base for turnarounds \n• Demonstrate the latest planning techniques for turnarounds\n• Highlighting the operational checkout and startup requirements\n• Learn the conditions for acceptance of the plant by plant operations personnel \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Talent Management\, Attraction and Retention Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nAn important point to know is that the shape of an organization’s talent management program hinges on how the term talent is understood and how that definition aligns with the strategic goals of the business.
