SUMMARY:Integrated Petrophysics for Reservoir Characterisation
DESCRIPTION:About this Training Course\nThis course will teach you how to evaluate reservoirs and quickly identify flawed results. Robust reserves and simulation are achieved by the logical\, systematic integration of all relevant data. A quality interpretation is extremely cost-effective compared with data acquisition or development mistakes and essential with today’s complex reservoirs and data sets. Proper integration replaces the need to run expensive\, irrelevant logs explains apparent data conflicts and provides the correct answer faster\, strengthening your position as an operator and competent petrophysicst. By contrast\, stand-alone log analysis often results in wrong decisions and weakens your position in the eyes of your business partners and colleagues. \nThis course\, evolved over 25 years of petrophysical consulting and training\, demonstrates how robust answers are achieved by the logical integration of diverse data. Pay and reserves are addressed first by Quick Look Log Analysis and then by a disciplined\, logical process to optimize the interpretation of Porosity\, Saturation\, Permeability and Fluid Contacts – the basis of Reserves. Low Contrast Pay\, clastics and carbonates are evaluated by straight forward integration techniques which outperform log analysis with direct\, plain to see results. The integration of Mudlogs\, LWD\, Wireline\, Facies / Rock Types\, SCAL\, NMR\, Dielectric\, MDTs and Well tests are explained via the author’s 28\,000 core plug PetroDB-WEB software. Finally\, the crucial Petrophysics to Geomodel checks is clearly set out. \nWho Should Attend\nPetrophysicists\, geologists\, operations geologists\, geo-modellers\, reservoir engineers\, geophysicists\, core analysts\nor anyone with a year’s experience with logs or formation evaluation. \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nThe essential nature of petrophysics: objectives\, data and uncertainties.\nTo get the best possible answers from any given data set.\n\nTo perform Quick Look Log Analysis and Essential Core-Log Integration with the author’s Excel spreadsheets.\n\nTo review petrophysical studies effectively and quickly identify flawed results using a clear sequence of logical checks.\n\nTo identify and extract the key data channels from modern hi-tech logs which when integrated with core\, logs and well tests\, will answer the questions your team is asking.\n\nTo identify and properly use what really matters in the increasingly complex barrage of modern petrophysical data.\n\nTo drill\, core\, log and test for clear formation evaluation results.\n\nTo avoid the 10 most common errors which ruin petrophysical results.\n\nTo use interactive software to reveal how your data can work together and impact results. \n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n PhoneEmail\n \n CompanyAdditional Comments:CAPTCHA

SUMMARY:Management of Complexity Custody Transfer and HSEQ Risk for Marine Tank Storage Terminals and Refineries
DESCRIPTION:About this Training Course\nA marine storage terminal and refinery is a complex living system. Interaction with all stakeholders is a challenge. Complying to an ever-growing number of rules\, regulations and guidelines needs a control system which is manageable. We created a new management learning program that focuses on this concept: ‘information reduces uncertainty’ by using systems science. This is a unique approach developed after much research to make supervisors and managers understand how complex systems behave and generate risk. \nManagement when focusing on effectivity using technological\, economic or operational skills only\, does not suffice anymore due to the enormous complexity of responsibilities and uncertainty which is the inability to know everything fully. The uncertainty principle is a fundamental property of complex systems primarily due to\, a large number of elements\, high interconnectivity\, interdependence\, nonlinear interactions and unpredictability of unknowable variables. Feedback is the energy by which you can manage risk much better. Within complex environments\, our traditional analytical methods for modelling the future – that depends on probability and statistics – break down. In response\, you need to invest more in understanding these broader trends. TTT teaches terminals how to respond and function within a wider range of possible states in order to maintain stability and prosperity. \nHSE\, knowledge\, insight\, awareness\, skill\, control\, efficiency\, time\, to name just a few\, are the necessary foundations for tank terminal management and marine operations. It all comes down to be able to control and steer the terminal’s complexity through information feedback. \nThis highly interactive and practical course will assist bulk liquid marine storage terminals in achieving a competitive advantage by having an effective and well-managed operation. This will ensure your operational processes and workforce perform up to the highest standards and expectations. \nWho Should Attend\nThis course is designed for anyone with immediate responsibility for custody transfer operations\, HSEQ\, refinery or terminal management and supervision. \nThis course is NOT intended for LNG or LPG Terminals. TTT offers special LNG and LPG Loading Masters & Operational Excellence Course Programs. SUMMARY:Effective Technical Talent Management
DESCRIPTION:About this Training Course\nManagers have an obligation to get the best value for the money they invest on behalf of their organizations. That is as true for the human side of the business as it is for making investment decisions about machines\, technology\, or even capital. Systematically and strategically picking the best people\, and developing them to make them even more productive\, is not something to be put off until a rainy day. It is not something that would be “nice to do” when time permits. It is\, instead\, essential to gaining and sustaining competitive advantage. \nWhile traditional “talent management” programs have focused on attracting\, developing\, retaining and positioning the best High Potential (HiPo) workers\, technical talent management focuses on attracting\, developing\, retaining\, positioning and transferring the knowledge of the best High Professional (HiPro) workers. HiPros are the “go to” people\, the in-house experts\, on business processes\, problems\, customers or issues. Traditional succession planning and traditional talent management programs have ignored the critically important HiPro group. \nSuccessful organizations of the future will not be those with the most advanced technology or the most liquid capital. They will\, instead\, be those that are systematically managing and developing talent—including technical talent–to gain and sustain competitive advantage. \nMany HR practitioners are faced with the need to coordinate the start-up of a comprehensive talent management system. However\, they often wonder where to start and what to do. This session will provide a detailed approach to guide that start up. While that approach may need to be modified and aligned with each corporate culture\, it provides enough details for you to prepare and implement a project plan to implement the talent management system. It goes beyond that traditional focus to add a new\, special element—that is\, a focus on leveraging the knowledge of HiPros. \nTarget Audience\nThis workshop is well suited for managers responsible for starting up and/or implementing technical talent management programs. \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nDetermine whether you have top management support\nLink talent plans to HR plans and organizational strategy\nDescribe the lifecycle of talent management systems and how they influence establishing and maintaining a talent management system\nReview the essential components of a talent management system and plan for adding or revising components\n\nReview how technical talent management differs from\, and is similar to\, traditional—that is\, management-focused—talent management\n\nPrepare a project plan to implement a technical talent management system\n\nIdentify and develop technical competencies\n\nExamine the essential components of a performance management system as part of a technical talent management effort\n\nDetermine how to identify HiPros\nDescribe how to leverage the knowledge of HiPros and how to transfer that knowledge\n\nReview effective recruiting and retention strategies for HiPros\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n PhoneEmail\n \n CompanyAdditional Comments:CAPTCHA

SUMMARY:Effective Incident Investigation and Reporting
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nInvestigating a worksite incident – a fatality\, injury\, illness\, or close call – provides employers and workers the opportunity to identify hazards in their operations and shortcomings in their safety and health programs. SUMMARY:Leadership 4.0: The Rise of the Digital Leader
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nWe are in the midst of what is now being referred to as the fourth industrial revolution. We are witnessing wholesale changes in the way we live\, work\, and relate to one another as technology drives greater connectivity and heightened levels of application. Our sharing economy has steadily grown to the point whereby sector leaders are barely recognizable from those that led before them and in all likelihood nothing like those that will follow them. Managers too need to change and adopt emerging styles to succeed in a world of digital disruption. They need to think\, act and design differently and build a business model of flexibility for tomorrow not the stability of yesterday. \nThey need to be: \n1. Collaborative and socialization orientation \n2. Emotionally intelligent and versed \n3. Agile\, creative thinker and problem solver \n4. Adaptable change driver \n5. Rapid talent deployment to create highly effective yet fluid organisations \n6. Maximize on diversity\, culture and attitudes \n7. Capitalist of data through digitisation and automation \n8. Build a business model of flexibility for tomorrow not the stability of yesterday. \nWho Should Attend\nThis workshop has been designed for professionals working at a managerial level in both private and public bodies alike. They recognise that with the fourth industrial revolution things must change in order for them to remain relevant\, their teams to grow and their organisations to thrive. SUMMARY:Cyber Security for Non-Technical Personnel
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nEvery week we read about yet another cyber (or more accurately: information) security breach where thousands of\nsensitive or confidential records have been stolen. According to a recent study into the cost of data breaches\, the average cost of such a breach is US$158 per client/customer record. For health care organizations the cost is a staggering $355\, and many health care organisations have been breached two or more times! Considering the huge number of records stolen\, the total average cost of a data breach presently works out to around US$4 million\, and many organizations\, especially small to medium ones\, don’t survive. It’s estimated up to 60% go out of business. \nBoard and senior management of many organizations don’t have a realistic view of these dangers\, or how vulnerable their organizations are. For example\, 83% of respondents to an information security survey said: “their organization’s valuable assets are covered by video surveillance”. At the same time\, a recent US boardroom study found that “over 91% of high vulnerable board members said they couldn’t read a cybersecurity report and are not prepared to handle a major attack”. \nThis course looks at the business side of information security. It takes delegates through a non-technical journey of\nthe world of hacking\, vulnerabilities\, data breaches\, etc. It highlights the origins of information security and looks at the many and varied ways in which hackers conduct cyber-attacks on vulnerable organizations & individuals. Most importantly it identifies just who are the main perpetrators\, some of whom will surprise. \nDelegates will learn how to set up defences against these attacks using SIEM (Security Information and Event\nManagement) principles\, particularly:\n• How to use risk management in an information security environment;\n• How to set up information security policies for their organization;\n• How to set up an Information Security Strategic Plan;\n• How to set up Security Incident Response Plan & Team. \nThe seminar draws on the instructor’s vast experience in the Information Technology field over the last 40 plus years\, and particularly in area of Information Security over the last fifteen years. The strategies\, tools & techniques outlined during the seminar are based on real-world examples. By the end of the seminar\, delegates will be able to take them back to their organization and begin using them to immediately build their defences against cyber attacks. \nWho Should Attend\n This course is designed for non-technical people who need to understand (or at the very least want to be aware of) the risks and responsibilities of their organisation with respect to information security. In particular\, anyone who is responsible for information security compliance or assurance will benefit from attending. \nAny manager who has responsibility for managing any part of their organisation that handles information\, especially\nsensitive or confidential client information\, should attend this course. In addition\, all IT professionals\, regardless of their job function\, should attend this course to gain a full appreciation of the dangers of weak or inadequate cyber -security\, both from an organizational point of view as well as at an individual level. \nThe following people will particularly benefit from this course:\n• All “C” level executives\n• Chief Information Security Officer\n• Information / Data Security Officers\n• Customer Service Managers\n• Product Managers\n• Project Managers\n• Technical Support / Customer Support Managers\n• Business Development Managers\, especially those in the following industries:\no Banks\no Insurance\no Telecommunications\no Health-related services including Hospitals\, Health care providers\, Health Care insurance\no Oil & Gas\no Logistics & Transportation\no Government Agencies / Ministries \n  \nKey Learning Objectives\n\n• Learn the many and varied types of cyber attacks that can occur in your environment\, both at an organizational level as individually\n• Understand the costs & effects (sometimes disastrous) that cyber attacks can have on your organisation or you\n• Identify where you and your organisation are most vulnerable to cyber attack (you may be surprised) – and how to guard against them\n• Learn how to educate senior management and your board in the importance of good information security – the IT\nGovernance standard\n• Guard against cyber-attacks through good risk management – use the standard!\n• See how to build a strong information security perimeter to guard your most valuable assets – your personal/customer/client information\n• Learn how to think like a hacker and build an effective Information Security Plan\n• Recognise the importance of a good Security Incident Response Plan and learn how to prepare one.\n• Plan an effective defence against a cyber attack – Monitor\, Detect\, Analyse\, Respond\, Resolve & Review \n \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.Name\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n PhoneEmail\n \n CompanyAdditional Comments:CAPTCHA
