SUMMARY:TUV PHRA Training: TÜV Rheinland FS Engineer Process Hazard and Risk Analysis
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis TUV PHRA training course focuses on the early lifecycle phases of hazard and risk analysis up to\, and including\, the development of the Safety Requirements Specification (SRS) for process\, oil & gas\, petrochemical and chemical industries according to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511. \nThis 5-day course comprises 4 days of classroom tuition and practical guidance\, for understanding and mastering the application\, of process hazard analysis and associated risk analysis as required for the early lifecycle phases of Edition 2 IEC 61508 & Edition 2 of IEC 61511 for SIS. We also include many fundamental topics that we know you need to understand\, but are not covered in the standards. Practical exercises will be performed throughout the course based on real-life examples. There is a 5-hour competency examination on the last day. \nWho Should Attend\nProcess Engineers\, Instrument Engineers\, Process Safety and Operations personnel who are involved in maintaining the integrity of their processes\, and are more involved in the early lifecycle phases of functional safety management. \nKey Learning Objectives\nThe topics cover the concepts of identifying hazards using tools such as What-If\, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and HAZard and OPerability (HAZOP). This will be further developed into the analysis of risk and methods of risk reduction to consider the effectiveness of preventative and mitigating layers of protection. The use of preventative safeguarding efficiencies will be introduced for use with the PHA Matrix\, along with the advantages/disadvantages of using the PHA Matrix with different Hazard Analysis methods. \nThe different questioning techniques used by a Hazard study leader to guarantee a systematic study methodology are investigated\, as is the HAZOP flowsheet design\, by considering the use of the HAZOP for specific needs such as LOPA. A LOPA exercise will actually be carried out from the output of the course HAZOP exercise. Consideration of constructing effective nodes will be examined and a better definition will be given to claims of double jeopardy. \nThe TUV PHRA training will introduce participants to the use of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and SIL determination using internationally agreed methods for assessing and quantifying process risk and risk reduction requirements. Delegates will be equipped with the knowledge and methods for undertaking various types of qualitative\, semi-quantified and quantitative risk assessments. \nPractical exercises will be carried out for Semi-Quantitative methods such as risk graph and LOPA. The shortfalls of the quicker methods will be investigated to allow the analyst to appreciate the limitations of screening tools. The most popular semi quantified method\, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)\, will be explored in depth. \nThe effective use of Event Tree Analysis will be looked at in two different forms (Mitigation ETA and Traditional ETA). The TUV PHRA training will focus on how ETA can be used to qualitatively support the analyst in mapping out the various consequences given various events with safeguard success or failure. Analysts can then select those events which generate consequences of interest for which FTA may be required. \nDelegates will also be taken through the requirements for safety management and the framework of a Safety Management System (SMS) for achieving effective process risk management. Best practice for SMS will be investigated with the use of Bow-ties linking the Hazard and its safeguards to the SMS. An insight into how process safety KPIs can be used to better align engineering and management in the prevention of major accident hazards will be covered. \nPartnership\n\n\n\nTUV Rheinland Singapore was founded in 1989 and has been serving the testing and certification needs of Singapore companies for over 20 years. In 2006\, our electrical lab was expanded to fully cover Household\, IT and audio video equipment testing acd to IEC/EN standards. DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis tanker vetting training course is a 2-day training. Launched in 1993\, the OCIMF Ship Inspection Report Programme (SIRE) has governed over 180\,000 inspection reports. As a result\, SIRE has made a significant contribution to improving the overall safety record of the maritime industry. As the industry continues to evolve\, its risk profile changes. More sophisticated risk measurement and management tools are now available. Against this background\, it became the right time to strengthen SIRE and ensure it remains truly effective in todays and future maritime environment. \nWorking with the industry\, OCIMF has developed an enhanced and risk-based vessel inspection programme that will supersede the existing SIRE programme. SIRE 2.0 will provide more accurate information to enable OCIMF members and programme recipients to make judgements on the quality and the likely future performance of a vessel. In future SIRE 2.0 will encompass all of OCIMF’s inspection programmes. This includes OCIMF’s Barge Inspection Report programme (BIRE) and Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID). \nSIRE 2.0 is the latest version of the Ship Inspection Report Programme developed by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF). It is a new way of conducting and reporting ship inspections that focuses more on the human factors and management aspects of ship operations. \nThis tanker vetting training course also closely compliments our Loading Master Certification course. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\nThis tanker vetting training course is designed for anyone with immediate responsibility for loading\, discharging and care in custody transfer or handling oil (Crude\, Petroleum Products) cargoes. Personnel in port management\, terminal operations\, port policy\, nautical operations and shipping management could find it beneficial. \nOther related job titles include: \n\nTerminal Loading Masters.\nTerminal Marine Safety Operators.\nVessel owners and operators\nSurveyors\nMarine superintendents\nRelevant industries include oil and gas\, supply chain\, energy and logistics etc\n\n  \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nA more comprehensive inspection regime with enhanced tools\, strengthened governance processes and more in-depth\nreporting outcomes\, following a risk-based approach.\nEnchanced inspection criteria on equipment\, procedures and human factors\, to further improve control over vessel safety\nsystems and processes. Enhanced pre-inspection processes and more robust monitoring protocols on the inspection\nprocess have been included.\nThe use of web-enabled tablet devices to allow inspections and feedback to be reported and documented in real-time\nand to allow inspections to be completed more efficiently\, with the adoption of a comprehensive yet standardised reporting\nformat.\nUpdated policies\, procedures\, and user guidance housed in an online process documentation library.\nAn enhanced governance process to provide greater transparency and control for all parties involved in the\nprogramme\, either directly or indirectly; and the adoption of rules that are enforceable and verifiable by OCIMF.\nSignificant enhancements to training and continuing development of inspectors to ensure the highest standard of\ndelivery is maintained and improved.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Extended Reach Drilling
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nExtended Reach Drilling (ERD) is a technology for drilling longer horizontal wells at a high inclination angle to reach underground oil/natural gas deposits further away from the drilling spot\, instead of drilling wells vertically. \nIn exploration and development of oil and natural gas\, we drill wells to reach subsurface deposits where oil/natural gas is likely trapped. However\, in the event we are unable to drill wells from directly above these deposits\, since mountains\, rivers\, or town areas overlie them\, we drill wells from surface locations at a short distance away\, using the directional drilling technology. ERD is an advanced version of the directional drilling technology. More specifically\, drilling at a high inclination angle allows for drilling horizontal wells even longer distances. \nIn recent years\, the ERD technology has been increasingly adopted in E&P projects. For instance\, using the technology\, we are able to locate and produce oil or natural gas from deposits below the seabed by diagonally drilling horizontal wells from the land\, rather than constructing offshore platforms directly above these deposits and drilling vertical wells to reach oil/natural gas. \nThe evolution of extended reach drilling techniques is explained against a background of showing what can go wrong if correct planning or rigsite operational practices are not fully implemented. This is very much an operationally focused course which looks to deliver a knowledge level that can immediately be put to use not just in ERD projects but in improving performance on smaller wells and substantially cutting drilling costs from development projects. The knowledge from this course can be directly applied to ongoing drilling operations or future well planning and will have a dramatic impact on drilling performance. \nAll the topics are placed in their operational context and an understanding of how each topic is inter-related with the other subject areas in the course is developed throughout the week.\nThroughout the course areas in which ERD techniques can adversely impact the well cost or increase the well risk are detailed and the mitigations for these risks are discussed. \nWho Should Attend\nDrilling engineers and managers handling extended reach drilling projects. \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nHow to relate your project to the industry drilling envelope and how to define the correct level of planning resource to allocate to ensure success.\nWhy certain vibration types become predominant in ERD wells and how to address these problems.\nWhen to use high cost technology like rotary steerable systems and when these systems add little value.\nHow to mitigate the risks of motor drilling when they are used in high angle drilling.\nHow to ensure that once the well is drilled\, it is possible to get the casing to bottom and cement it successfully.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Gas Well Performance & Deliquification
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis gas well training course provides the skills to understand and analyze gas well performance\, and to select and design those remedial measures. It addresses all four gas well components i.e. reservoir performance\, inflow performance\, outflow performance and surface performance\, individually and combined. \nGas wells are the most uncertain and therefore critical component of any gas production system. The success of a gas project hinges on accurate forecasting of gas well production and the timely implementation of measures to restore\, sustain\, and enhance well capacity\, thereby maximizing reserves. \nIn depletion-drive gas reservoirs\, outflow performance of the gas well is inevitably affected as reservoir pressure declines\, leading to a gas rate that is insufficient to lift water and condensate to the surface. This condition\, known as liquid loading\, results in a significant loss of well capacity and reserves. The gas well training teaches participants how to recognize and predict liquid loading\, introduces techniques to mitigate it\, and provides instruction on selecting\, designing\, installing\, and operating a comprehensive suite of deliquification measures. \nThe gas well training is structured around a series of lectures and exercises. The lectures are interactive\, featuring field examples to illustrate models and concepts\, and encouraging participants to share their own relevant experiences. The exercises involve using Excel worksheets for model calculations\, with participants invited to apply their own field-specific well data. When arranged in advance\, PROSPER gas well performance software may also be used. \nThis gas well training also addresses methods for monitoring and managing gas well performance and deliquification\, covering the purpose\, outcomes\, and benefits of surveillance and capacity measures to aid in future planning. It specifically focuses on the selection and implementation of deliquification measures. \nOverall\, this gas well training provides the skills and tools necessary for the periodic review of gas well performance\, supporting critical business processes. \n\nOpus Kinetic is also a proud member of the Energy Institute in UK. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\nProduction engineer\, surveillance SUMMARY:Decommissioning of Offshore Oil and Gas Installations
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nDecommissioning offshore Oil and Gas installations are an inevitable part of the ‘Life of Field’ activities. This offshore installation decommissioning training carries a multi-billion $ cost with no commercial return. This training course is essential to all those involved in decommissioning who need to be aware of their obligations and liabilities for decommissioning and how best to manage those such that opportunities can be realized\, and overall costs reduced. This will provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of offshore decommissioning from late-life operations\, through to planning\, estimating\, preparation\, execution and closeout. \n\n\n\n\nDecommissioning offshore oil and gas infrastructure involves permanently sealing wells to prevent any remaining hydrocarbons from leaking into the sea or migrating between rock layers. It also includes the removal of offshore structures from the marine environment\, aiming to leave a clean seabed wherever technically feasible\, environmentally advantageous\, and with minimal risk to personnel involved in the process. Aside from long-term environmental monitoring\, decommissioning marks the final stage in the lifecycle of an oil and gas production facility. The forementioned will be covered in this offshore installation decommissioning training. \n\nOpus Kinetic is also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\nEngineers/Managers of the following job titles: \n\nConstruction\nDecommissioning\nHSE\nFront End Engineering\nMarine Safety\nOffshore Installation\nProject Quality\nProject Engineering\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nGain a detailed understanding of all aspects of decommissioning\nA rare learning experience through real-life decommissioning related exercises and case studies\nInteraction with other professionals\nOpportunity to hear how decommissioning challenges are managed internationally\nOpportunity to see and discuss future changes and technologies for decommissioning\nGain an understanding of the decommissioning market and influences\nIdentifying decommissioning opportunities\nAbility to identify and mitigate decommissioning risks and issues\nLearn how to develop a decommissioning strategy\nOpportunity to learn\, adapt or improve current skill-set\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Characterization of Unconventional Reservoirs
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nAs conventional hydrocarbon reserves diminish\, the global energy industry is shifting its focus toward unconventional resources\, specifically heavy oil\, bitumen\, and shale gas\, to secure future energy demands. Successfully exploiting these complex assets—which serve as critical transition fuels and essential resource bases—requires a fundamental departure from traditional exploration methods. Because these reservoirs exhibit distinct petrophysical properties\, such as the high viscosity of heavy oils and the intricate\, low-permeability pore networks of shale plays\, standard models are often insufficient. This intensive unconventional reservoirs characterization training course provides the specialized technical framework necessary to master the geophysical characterization and production strategies essential for these unconventional reservoirs. Participants will explore advanced seismic strategies\, tailored rock physics models\, and effective production workflows to overcome the unique challenges associated with reservoir displacement\, stress states\, and mineralogical variability. By integrating accurate rock and fluid characterization with practical production insights—ranging from extraction techniques to transportation and environmental considerations—you will gain the expertise to optimize recovery and mitigate risk. Designed for technical professionals\, this program ensures you can confidently navigate the nuances of heavy oil and shale gas plays\, transforming complex reservoir challenges into reliable\, economically viable production strategies. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\n\nSeismic interpreters\nSeismic processors\nStratigraphers\nSstructure geologists\nReservoir engineers\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nAnalyze the geological origins\, API classifications\, and structural compositions of heavy crude oils and bitumen.\n\nApply rigorous rock physics models and advanced characterization workflows to evaluate heavy oil and shale gas reservoir properties. \n\n\nEvaluate diverse heavy oil production techniques and the resulting environmental implications of extraction and exploration activities. \n\n\nUtilize seismic attributes to map geological features of interest\, including the identification of production correlations with low-curvature regions. \n\n\nInterpret structural orientations and fracture patterns using rose diagrams\, brittleness-scaled curvature\, and azimuthal analysis. \n\n\nPredict reservoir stress fields and identify open fractures by integrating azimuthal velocity\, AVO anomalies\, and acoustic impedance volumes. \n\n\nAssess the prevailing technical challenges and future developments necessary for accurate unconventional reservoir characterization. \n\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - SUMMARY:LOPA and SIL Determination
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-days LOPA and SIL training course. Layer of protection analysis (LOPA) is a semi-quantitative\, order of magnitude\, tool for analysing and assessing risk on a process plant used to evaluate the adequacy of existing or proposed controls (layers of protection) against known hazards to achieve tolerable risk criteria. The course covers the different LOPA methodology variations\, single cause\, multiple cause\, simple and complex applications. The most common use of the LOPA technique is for Safety Integrity Levels (SILs) be determined for Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) and this is covered in detail\, but non-SIF applications are also coved. \n\nThe LOPA and SIL training course will give you an understanding of the methodology\, application\, and limitations of LOPA. It will help you understand how to select and assess hazardous scenarios by applying the LOPA methodology\, and hv ow to interpret and apply the results including specifying the SIL of a SIF. The course references the CCPS books on LOPA and the latest international standard IEC 61511. At the end of this course the trainee will be able to be an active participant and contributor to LOPA and SIL determination studies.\n \nThe course consists of a series of modules that deal with the different technical aspects of LOPA. Presentations are interactive with video illustrations and case studies. Group exercises are used to enable attendees to put into practice what they have learnt during the lecture presentations. All the essential LOPA steps are practiced in exercises\, the main exercise takes a HAZOP worksheet and builds the LOPA from it.\n \nThe LOPA and SIL training course is intended to be an open course using generic examples and simple spreadsheets / calculations not tied to any proprietary software. The case studies but can be adapted with site specific case studies if available. \nWho Should Attend\nThe LOPA and SIL training course is designed for participants who need to attend and actively contribute to LOPA/SIL studies. The course does not provide LOPA facilitator training but does cover the technical aspects needed that the facilitator must do as part of the LOPA. For those trainees who are already qualified as PHA/HAZOP leaders\, this course will allow them to apply their existing knowledge of the various PHA techniques and their existing leadership/facilitation skills to successfully facilitate LOPA studies. \nTypical attendees would be: \n\nProcess Safety Engineers\nTechnical Safety Engineers\nProcess Design Engineers\nLoss Prevention Engineers\nProject Engineers\nInstrument and Control Engineers\nProcess Safety Managers\nTechnical Safety Managers\nTechnical Safety Advisors and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Authorities\nSafety/HSE Managers\nProcess Safety Consultants\nProcess Safety Advisors and Specialists\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nLayers of Protection\, Background and History\nSIF and SIL\nLOPA and alternate methods\nLOPA Concepts (LOPA Math\, Initiating Events (IE’s)\, Independent Protection Layers (IPL’s)\, Enabling Events\, Conditional Modifiers\, LOPA variations: (a) single cause\, (b) multiple cause\, (c) simple and (d) complex\, etc)\nLOPA Methodology\nHuman Factors in LOPA\nTolerable risk targets and ALARP\nCompany Guidance and Policies\nLifecycle approach to SI\nOrganizing LOPA studies\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number.
SUMMARY:Emergency Response and Crisis Management
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis emergency response training provides a comprehensive overview of the emergency response requirement for downstream oil & gas. The course is highly interactive and requires full participation of all students. The course provides a detailed insight into the practical realities of emergency response in downstream oil & gas while being presented by a very experienced senior emergency responder with extensive practical international experience. \n\nThe emergency response training provides an overview of a few major incidents followed by a discussion to emphasize the importance of emergency preparedness and emergency response planning. Emergency management basics such as emergency preparedness\, response and recovery\, and management phases are also included to ensure a strong foundation for the program. Trainees will also have a practical lesson in anticipation and assessment after learning about accident scenarios through a video and class discussion followed by constructing their own assessment. Prevention and mitigation consist of learning about the regulations for COMAH as well as ALARP principles in order to mitigate risk in the installations. \n\nTechnical and safety studies would educate attendees about the physical effects modelling which will enlighten them about escape and rescue assessments. Understanding the difference as well as the importance between plans\, procedures and planning cycles falls under emergency preparations. It is imperative to understand the emergency response and crisis management command structure\, roles and responsibilities and chain of command in any response plan for it to run smoothly. There will be a drill and exercise to show that the theoretical knowledge gained from the course is of practical use as well. This will test human factors\, emergency equipment\, mutual aid and the effectiveness of emergency control centers. \n\nThe emergency response training also caters to the geography of incidents\, damage to infrastructure\, media statement\, response to wide-area incidents and modifying existing plans to manage incidents. Disaster risk management cycle\, recovery strategy\, deployment and social impacts of emergencies are part of the recovery process of the emergency response plans. \nWho Should Attend\n\nManagers\nSupervisors\nHSE professionals who may be required to develop emergency or crisis response plans or exercises\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nDefine the requirements and importance of emergency and crisis response management\n\nDiscuss aspects of integrated emergency management\n\nGenerate appropriate emergency and crisis response documentation\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:HAZOP Training: Hazard Studies and HAZOP Team Leader
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day HAZOP training course. HAZOP and Hazard studies are an essential part of effective process safety management and HSE risk management. This course covers various process hazard assessment (PHA) techniques that team leaders must understand and be able to apply as well as facilitation skills required to manage successful hazard study meetings.\n \nThese techniques apply to all industry sectors including oil & gas\, petrochemicals\, chemicals\, pharmaceuticals\, and utilities\, both on new projects and on existing operating plants. Each hazard study technique aligns with a project stage and the needs of the level of project development at that stage.\n \nThe course consists of a series of modules that deal with the different hazard study stages and techniques and related process safety concepts and facilitation topics. Presentations are interactive with video illustrations and case studies. Group exercises are used for the different techniques (including\, inherent safety\, HAZID\, HAZOP and procedural HAZOP)\, to enable attendees to put into practice what they have learnt during the lecture presentations.\n \nThe HAZOP training course is intended to be an open course using generic (non-proprietary) examples and case studies but can be adapted with site specific case studies if available. \nWho Should Attend\nThe HAZOP training course is designed for participants who are expected to lead HAZOPs and already have some experience as HAZOP team members. It is also appropriate for regular team members who wish to develop their HAZOP and PHA skills further by hazard. \nTypical attendees would be: \n\nProcess Safety Engineers\nTechnical Safety Engineers\nProcess Design Engineers\nLoss Prevention Engineers\nTechnical Safety Managers\nProcess Safety Managers\nProcess Safety Advisers and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Advisers and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Authorities\nSafety/HSE Managers\nProcess Safety Consultants\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Subsurface Characterization\, Screening and Site Selection for Geologic CO2 Storage Sites
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is a key means of mitigating climate change and is the only option currently available to decarbonize industries such as cement\, steel\, petrochemicals and LNG. As opportunities in oil and gas decline\, they are growing in CCS. Human activities now generate about 35Gt of CO2 (1 gigatonne=1 billion tonnes) per year. At ~$50/ton for sequestration\, the potential opportunity is enormous\, both in new business revenue and in repurposing old assets and delaying decommissioning costs. Mitigation of the worst effects of climate change will require storing billions of tons per year\, with an industry to match. In the US alone\, the National Petroleum Council estimates that CCS could employ ~230\,000 people\, similar to the current oil industry. \nThis subsurface characterization CCUS training course empowers attendees to develop and apply their skills to the growing industry of Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage. SUMMARY:Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis practical and highly-interactive CMRP training includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. \nThe Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) program is the #1 leading credentialing program for certifying the knowledge\, skills and abilities of maintenance and reliability professionals. The CMRP program is certified by the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP). \nExamining more than just textbook information\, the CMRP is a thorough examination of a broader scope of expertise measured against a universal standard. It was developed to assess professionals’ aptitude within the five (5) pillars of the Maintenance and Reliability Body of Knowledge: Business Management\, Equipment Reliability\, Manufacturing Process Reliability\, Organization and Leadership\, and Work Management. \nEvery organization has a process for handling and documenting maintenance issues. Some are as simple and informal as the user calls maintenance to come fix something. Others use high powered computerized maintenance management software (CMMS). \nSome organizations use formal planning and scheduling while others have the maintenance personnel plan and schedule their own work. Experience has shown that more informal and less planned and scheduled work is highly inefficient. On the other hand\, too much planning\, scheduling and documentation can also inefficiently use maintenance resources. The aim is to find the right balance of planning\, scheduling and documentation to maximize the use of maintenance resources. In addition\, one of the biggest challenges to adopting new processes is gaining acceptance at all levels in the organization. Management of change techniques is essential to a successful program. \nThis interactive CMRP training course is designed to provide the participants with the information needed to understand their own maintenance management process as well as make improvements to their processes\, so they can more effectively and efficiently use their maintenance resources. The participants will understand basic process development\, planning and scheduling concepts and have the tools they need to work within their organization to improve the way they manage maintenance work. \nThe CMRP training course includes an e-book entitled “Maintenance and Reliability Certification Exam Guide”\, published by Industrial Press\, Inc.\, which will be given to the participants to help them appreciate the principles presented in the course. \nThis CMRP training course shall provide adequate knowledge and skill for the participants to develop a strategy for outstanding maintenance and reliability performance\, tools to improve reliability at equipment level and an insight to the latest practices in planning\, scheduling and control. This course shall provide maintenance and an in-depth overview of the five pillars of the SMRP Body of Knowledge\, along with the award-winning UK Model of Excellence for Maintenance. \nWho Should Attend\nThis course covers systematic techniques in maintenance and reliability management to assist maintenance management personnel responsible for delivering maximum reliability and availability of equipment at the lowest possible cost. The course will present techniques designed to improve the effectiveness of maintenance management activities\, to ensure that physical assets perform their required functions\, operate reliably\, and support corporate goals. It is essential for all maintenance and reliability management staff including reliability and mechanical engineers who are directly responsible for the equipment reliability and maintenance. The management of the risks associated with Health\, Safety and Environmental\, HSE threats to a business is becoming increasingly complex and as part of any credible global business\, needs to be managed in a consistent\, systematic manner. It is essential therefore that the leadership team develop the skills needed to influence both the “hearts and minds” of the workforce to deliver HSE management systems for occupational and process safety hazards that consistently ensure risks are controlled to As Low as Is Reasonably Practicable\, ALARP \nBy taking part in this innovative high hazard facilities training\, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of how the leadership team and their management deliver\, through their actions\, a world class performance in HSE. It is important to stress the word actions\, as opposed to simply updating company policies\, procedures or instructions to the workforce\, as being key to creating a best-in-class operational HSE culture. \nAdditionally\, participants will be required to both analyse the leading HSE risks to their company\, as well as being provided with the tools to enhance their organisation’s culture and the risk controls to ensure sustainable change. In particular\, participants will discover the real HSE challenges that face the Executive Management team and their sub-ordinate managers and staff within a global business when developing and operating high hazard facilities. The emphasis of the high hazard facilities training content and breakout sessions will focus on the oil\, gas\, petrochemicals industries\, but is also relevant for other industries\, where major accidents occur such as in the marine\, construction\, rail\, and power generation. \nWho Should Attend\n\nCorporate HSE Directors\, managers and advisors\nOperational HSE managers and advisors\nProcess safety managers and specialists\nAsset integrity managers and engineers\nQuality assurance managers and quality control inspectors\nMaintenance managers and engineers\nCorporate HSE audit Personnel\nPurchasers of HSE Support Services\nProject managers and engineers\nProject compliance engineers\nInsurance managers to the oil and gas industry\nRisk managers\nSpecialists in oil and gas finance\, due diligence\,\nMergers and acquisitions\nBusiness Owners\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nThe key workshop objectives are to provide the basis for the Client to apply best practices used by peer group global companies for maintaining consistent best-in-class HSE Leadership when developing and controlling occupational and major hazard HSE risks\, affecting their direct workforce and contractors\, specifically focused on: \n\nOverview of HSE Leadership principles\nHSE Culture development and enhancement\n“Heart versus the Mind” when changing workforce behaviour.\nHSE Competency management\nThe critical role of frontline supervision as leaders for change\nEvaluation of the degree of alignment in the leadership on HSE risks\nThe influence of people\, process and plant to HSE performance\nThe problems with using Key Performance Indicators to influence behaviour\nThe most and least effective communication methods for the Leadership to influence HSE behaviour\nChanging HSE behaviour after an incident has occurred – the “Just Culture” Model.\nNormalisation of deviations and organizational drift\nTransformational management of HSE\nMaintaining the ethics and business values to drive effective HSE Leadership\n\nThe detailed scope of the high hazard facilities training is described in the “Agenda” section\, covering 10 separate sessions\, including practical case studies to demonstrate the practical implementation issues. A specific session will be undertaken during the masterclass to assess how the leaders view the importance of HSE risks to their company and the degree of control they can exert to change these risks – the “Boston Square” methodology. \nA close-out session will be undertaken in order for the client to identify areas for improvement and to prioritise such actions as necessary to build a world class HSE framework. \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number.
