SUMMARY:Gas Well Performance & Deliquification
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis gas well training course provides the skills to understand and analyze gas well performance\, and to select and design those remedial measures. It addresses all four gas well components i.e. reservoir performance\, inflow performance\, outflow performance and surface performance\, individually and combined. \nGas wells are the most uncertain and therefore critical component of any gas production system. The success of a gas project hinges on accurate forecasting of gas well production and the timely implementation of measures to restore\, sustain\, and enhance well capacity\, thereby maximizing reserves. \nIn depletion-drive gas reservoirs\, outflow performance of the gas well is inevitably affected as reservoir pressure declines\, leading to a gas rate that is insufficient to lift water and condensate to the surface. This condition\, known as liquid loading\, results in a significant loss of well capacity and reserves. The gas well training teaches participants how to recognize and predict liquid loading\, introduces techniques to mitigate it\, and provides instruction on selecting\, designing\, installing\, and operating a comprehensive suite of deliquification measures. \nThe gas well training is structured around a series of lectures and exercises. The lectures are interactive\, featuring field examples to illustrate models and concepts\, and encouraging participants to share their own relevant experiences. The exercises involve using Excel worksheets for model calculations\, with participants invited to apply their own field-specific well data. When arranged in advance\, PROSPER gas well performance software may also be used. \nThis gas well training also addresses methods for monitoring and managing gas well performance and deliquification\, covering the purpose\, outcomes\, and benefits of surveillance and capacity measures to aid in future planning. It specifically focuses on the selection and implementation of deliquification measures. \nOverall\, this gas well training provides the skills and tools necessary for the periodic review of gas well performance\, supporting critical business processes. \n\nOpus Kinetic is also a proud member of the Energy Institute in UK. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\nProduction engineer\, surveillance engineer\, completion engineer\, reservoir engineer\, production programmer\, production operator. \nKey Learning Objectives\n\nIntroduction (objectives\, units\, reservoir fluid properties).\nInflow performance (Forchheimer\, matching\, inflow threats & opportunities).\nOutflow performance (single and multi-phase flow\, matching\, liquid loading instability\, other outflow threats & opportunities).\nWellhead & surface performance (operating envelope\, matching\, flowline & choke\, surface pressure buildup\, surface threats & opportunities).\nReservoir performance (minimum pressure & ultimate recovery\, recovery measures\, deliquification strategy\, connected volume).\nProduction forecast & economics (material balance & exponential decline\, liquid loading date prediction\, profitability).\nBuild scenarios (specify & model consecutive remedial measures\, forecast & economics).\nIntermittent production (steady-state\, transient\, huff & puff\, model uptime\, automation).\nDepletion compression (model triple benefits\, location\, type\, capacity\, timing).\nVelocity string (model size\, bottom & top completions\, deployment).\nFoam-assisted lift (batch & continuous\, chemical selection\, model\, deployment).\nPlunger lift (cycle\, completion\, model\, plunger-less lift).\nGas lift (intermittent or continuous\, annular or concentric\, model).\nDownhole pump (applications\, types\, model).\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n LinkedInThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.Company(Required)Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:LOPA and SIL Determination
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-days LOPA and SIL training course. Layer of protection analysis (LOPA) is a semi-quantitative\, order of magnitude\, tool for analysing and assessing risk on a process plant used to evaluate the adequacy of existing or proposed controls (layers of protection) against known hazards to achieve tolerable risk criteria. The course covers the different LOPA methodology variations\, single cause\, multiple cause\, simple and complex applications. The most common use of the LOPA technique is for Safety Integrity Levels (SILs) be determined for Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) and this is covered in detail\, but non-SIF applications are also coved. \n\nThe LOPA and SIL training course will give you an understanding of the methodology\, application\, and limitations of LOPA. It will help you understand how to select and assess hazardous scenarios by applying the LOPA methodology\, and hv ow to interpret and apply the results including specifying the SIL of a SIF. The course references the CCPS books on LOPA and the latest international standard IEC 61511. At the end of this course the trainee will be able to be an active participant and contributor to LOPA and SIL determination studies.\n \nThe course consists of a series of modules that deal with the different technical aspects of LOPA. Presentations are interactive with video illustrations and case studies. Group exercises are used to enable attendees to put into practice what they have learnt during the lecture presentations. All the essential LOPA steps are practiced in exercises\, the main exercise takes a HAZOP worksheet and builds the LOPA from it.\n \nThe LOPA and SIL training course is intended to be an open course using generic examples and simple spreadsheets / calculations not tied to any proprietary software. SUMMARY:SIRE 2.0 Tanker Vetting and Human Factors
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis tanker vetting training course is a 2-day training. Launched in 1993\, the OCIMF Ship Inspection Report Programme (SIRE) has governed over 180\,000 inspection reports. As a result\, SIRE has made a significant contribution to improving the overall safety record of the maritime industry. As the industry continues to evolve\, its risk profile changes. More sophisticated risk measurement and management tools are now available. Against this background\, it became the right time to strengthen SIRE and ensure it remains truly effective in todays and future maritime environment. \nWorking with the industry\, OCIMF has developed an enhanced and risk-based vessel inspection programme that will supersede the existing SIRE programme. SIRE 2.0 will provide more accurate information to enable OCIMF members and programme recipients to make judgements on the quality and the likely future performance of a vessel. In future SIRE 2.0 will encompass all of OCIMF’s inspection programmes. This includes OCIMF’s Barge Inspection Report programme (BIRE) and Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID). \nSIRE 2.0 is the latest version of the Ship Inspection Report Programme developed by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF). It is a new way of conducting and reporting ship inspections that focuses more on the human factors and management aspects of ship operations. \nThis tanker vetting training course also closely compliments our Loading Master Certification course. \nWe are also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \nWho Should Attend\nThis tanker vetting training course is designed for anyone with immediate responsibility for loading\, discharging and care in custody transfer or handling oil (Crude\, Petroleum Products) cargoes. SUMMARY:Managing International EPC Contracts in Global Power Industry
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nAs the International Oil and Gas industry matures; competition has intensified as organisations seek different ways in which to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. One response to this has been to adopt a form of ‘risk transfer’ via outsourcing to make another party the ‘bearer’ of risk –i.e. appointing a contractor company that offers a ‘one-stop shop’ solution – to undertake the whole scope of a project by being the main contractor and subsequently managing the entire range of sub-contractor agreements to ensure that the deliverable in question is met in its entirety for the client/end-user. \nThese types of contract are often referred to as EPC (Engineering; Procurement and Construction contracts)\, whilst another common name for them is ‘Turnkey’ contracts. If the contract can be executed successfully\, the contractor stands to benefit\, whilst if there are problems and delays\, it is the contractor who may find themselves liable for bearing these costs. \nUnfortunately\, given the scale and scope of this species of commercial contract\, there is a great likelihood that most of the ambit of contractual misfortune in terms of breach; delay; quality issues; HSE compliance and local content issues (to name but a few) will manifest at some point during the project’s lifetime. This course will furnish delegates with a thorough understanding of the key components and their interactions of an EPC contract and will address issues relative to dispute resolution. Focus is on open dialogue and collective problem solving relative to case examples and class exercises. This course has been designed to provide an immersive\, value-adding experience to delegates who attend. \nOn completion of the course the participants will: \n\nBecome familiar with the importance of ‘scoping’ an EPC project correctly\nHave awareness of the key features and contractual provisions of an EPC contract\nHave a greater understanding of the dynamic nature of contractual provisions and some of the\nUnderstand how an EPC contract is structured\nGrasp the fundamentally important aspects of managing risk in an EPC contract\nKnow what to focus on for managing the commercial performance of an EPC contract\nBe aware of the vital importance of stakeholder mapping and identification\nUnderstand the importance of project change orders and how to efficiently manage change\nKnow how to structure and lead a high performance project team\nGrasp the importance of effectively managing the project supply chain and inventory functions\nGain relevant knowledge of arbitral proceedings and other dispute resolution methodologies such as mediation\n\nWho Should Attend\n\nContract personnel/managers/administrators\nProcurement departments\nIndividuals involved in managing project inventories\nIndividuals engaged within risk management\nTeam leaders\nAnyone else wanting to learn more about EPC contracts\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nBecome familiar with the importance of ‘scoping’ an EPC project correctly both from the client/end-user perspective and the contractor\nHave awareness of the key features and contractual provisions of an EPC contract\nHave a greater understanding of the dynamic nature of contractual provisions and some of the consequences that arise as a result of them within the commercial world\nUnderstand how an EPC contract is structured\nGrasp the fundamentally important aspects of managing risk in an EPC contract\nBecome familiar with key procurement aspects associated with EPC contracts and projects\nBe competent in supplier selection and evaluation\nKnow what to focus on for managing the commercial performance of an EPC contract\nUnderstand the importance of project change orders and how to efficiently manage change\nBe competent in managing critical interfaces in power projects such as access to grid; fuel specifications and the commissioning regime\nUnderstand the requirements and importance for EPC projects inefficiency of critical (long) lead items and their impacts\, both positive and potentially negative\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n FacebookThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.Company(Required)Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Advanced Contract Negotiation and Post-Contract Management
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nContracts are absolutely essential in the petroleum industry\, and poor contract negotiations can result in many unnecessary and costly problems. When engaged in contract negotiations of all types and value\, your skill as a contract negotiator may not only prevent losses and increase gains for you and your organization\, but it can also establish the foundation for long and\nmutually fruitful relationships. \nWhile many negotiation courses address the topic in a general light\, this contract negotiation training is specifically focused upon the Oil and Gas commercial relationship negotiation interface. You will learn how to become an effective negotiator in the context of a commercial contracting – you will realize that negotiations is not merely an event\, but rather an inter-related phase in a larger process. When should you negotiate? How can you best prepare for negotiations with commercial partners in the Oil and Gas sector? Why are internal negotiations with stakeholders sometimes tougher than negotiating with external commercial partners? These are just some of the easier questions we will address in this interactive session. \nThis contract negotiation training course offers you the key strategies and techniques to appreciably enhance your ability to negotiate better contracts and to better negotiate solutions to the inevitable conflict and (often) disputes that can arise in the post-award contracts environment. This contract negotiation training is designed with leading contract industry knowledge and practical contract negotiation case studies discussion and analysis to provide you with an interactive learning environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\n\nProcurement Managers & Executives\nContract Managers & Executives\nLegal Managers & Executives\nCommercial Managers & Executives\nBusiness planners & Development Managers\nProject Managers & Executives\nRisk Managers & Executives\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nUnderstand the impact of power curves in negotiations\nRealize the importance and impact of negotiating before and after partner selection\nDevelop effective negotiation strategies for your contracts in the Oil and Gas sector\nAssign effective roles to negotiation team members\nLearneffective negotiation tips and techniques\nAcquire hands on negotiation experience in an oil and gas sector contract\nCreate negotiation strategies that enable greater value and risk positions\nIdentify negotiation tools that are needed for negotiation success in the oil and gas sector\nRecognizing and managing contract breach – even before it happens!\nProperly stating your rights and remedies post breach\, and harnessing those rights for maximum results\nManaging your course of conduct in a way that will not result in a waiver of your rights or de facto\nManage risk and supply chain vulnerability\nDeliver continuous improvement\, learning and knowledge transfer\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n LinkedInThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.Company(Required)Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:HAZOP Training: Hazard Studies and HAZOP Team Leader
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day HAZOP training course. HAZOP and Hazard studies are an essential part of effective process safety management and HSE risk management. This course covers various process hazard assessment (PHA) techniques that team leaders must understand and be able to apply as well as facilitation skills required to manage successful hazard study meetings.\n \nThese techniques apply to all industry sectors including oil & gas\, petrochemicals\, chemicals\, pharmaceuticals\, and utilities\, both on new projects and on existing operating plants. Each hazard study technique aligns with a project stage and the needs of the level of project development at that stage.\n \nThe course consists of a series of modules that deal with the different hazard study stages and techniques and related process safety concepts and facilitation topics. Presentations are interactive with video illustrations and case studies. Group exercises are used for the different techniques (including\, inherent safety\, HAZID\, HAZOP and procedural HAZOP)\, to enable attendees to put into practice what they have learnt during the lecture presentations.\n \nThe HAZOP training course is intended to be an open course using generic (non-proprietary) examples and case studies but can be adapted with site specific case studies if available. \nWho Should Attend\nThe HAZOP training course is designed for participants who are expected to lead HAZOPs and already have some experience as HAZOP team members. It is also appropriate for regular team members who wish to develop their HAZOP and PHA skills further by hazard. \nTypical attendees would be: \n\nProcess Safety Engineers\nTechnical Safety Engineers\nProcess Design Engineers\nLoss Prevention Engineers\nTechnical Safety Managers\nProcess Safety Managers\nProcess Safety Advisers and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Advisers and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Authorities\nSafety/HSE Managers\nProcess Safety Consultants\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n PhoneThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.Company(Required)Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Phone(Required)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Country\n \n \n \n \n Phone Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number.
