SUMMARY:Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\n\n\n\n\nThis is a CCS EOR training course. Carbon Capture\, Utilization\, and Storage (CCUS) has drawn a global attention to reduce the global warming. The best way to use the captured carbon dioxide is to inject into the depleted oil reservoirs to improve the oil recovery as the CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technique. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various capture technologies\, storage options\, and the potential of CO2 for enhanced oil recovery and other uses. \nParticipants will have a thorough understanding of the technology and concepts of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Carbon Capture\, Utilization\, and Storage (CCUS) plus safe geological storage\, storage options\, and the potential use of CO2 for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR).  Large amounts of oil deposits remain unrecovered after application of traditional primary and secondary oil recovery methods. Gas Enhanced Oil Recovery (GEOR) has been proven as an efficient oil recovery technique to recover bypassed oil and residual oil trapped in the reservoir. Different gases\, mixture of gases\, and Water-Alternating-Gas (WAG) are the most common EOR methods used in the oil industry.  These gas EOR methods rely on the injection of different gases to boost oil recovery. \nDifferent gas EOR techniques of carbon dioxide\, Nitrogen\, hydrocarbon gas (HC)\, LPG\, WAG and mixture of gases are presented with actual field cases with industry reservoir simulation. Determination of Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP) using lab methods and industry correlations will be covered. The CCS EOR training course also provides types of industry simulators (ECLIPSE\, E100 and E300)) and steps to design a simulation study. The participants will be equipped with required knowledge and skills to master the technology to reduce carbon emissions while enhancing oil recovery.  The course delivery method is a blended environment of lectures\, open discussion\, in-class exercises and industry videos. \nOpus Kinetic is also a proud member of the Energy Institute of UK. \n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\n\nCO2 and CCS project engineers\nEOR project engineers\nGeologists and Geophysicists\nPetroleum engineers\nPetrophysicists\nProduction engineers\nReservoir engineers\nSubsurface engineers\nWell engineers\nWorkover engineer\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nGain a thorough understanding of CCS\, CCUS and CO2 EOR technologies\nUnderstand the frameworks of carbon capture\, storage methods\nEvaluate gas EOR processes and main challenges of field applications\nScreen\, design and analyze of different gas EOR projects\nLab and correlations of Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP)\nMain steps of applying carbon dioxide flooding technology\nNitrogen\, hydrocarbon gas\, and mixture of gas EOR processes\nSteps to design a simulation study and types of industry simulators\nNew trends for improved gas-hybrid EOR processes.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number.
