DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day HAZOP training course. HAZOP and Hazard studies are an essential part of effective process safety management and HSE risk management. This course covers various process hazard assessment (PHA) techniques that team leaders must understand and be able to apply as well as facilitation skills required to manage successful hazard study meetings.\n \nThese techniques apply to all industry sectors including oil & gas\, petrochemicals\, chemicals\, pharmaceuticals\, and utilities\, both on new projects and on existing operating plants. Each hazard study technique aligns with a project stage and the needs of the level of project development at that stage.\n \nThe course consists of a series of modules that deal with the different hazard study stages and techniques and related process safety concepts and facilitation topics. Presentations are interactive with video illustrations and case studies. Group exercises are used for the different techniques (including\, inherent safety\, HAZID\, HAZOP and procedural HAZOP)\, to enable attendees to put into practice what they have learnt during the lecture presentations.\n \nThe HAZOP training course is intended to be an open course using generic (non-proprietary) examples and case studies but can be adapted with site specific case studies if available. \nWho Should Attend\nThe HAZOP training course is designed for participants who are expected to lead HAZOPs and already have some experience as HAZOP team members.
