SUMMARY:Negotiation Tactics and Strategies for the International Oil & Gas Industry
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day oil and gas negotiation training course. The International Oil and Gas business is defined by a number of key variables along its value chain. Upstream the E&P segment is a high risk\, high investment endeavor\, subject to great uncertainty and long time periods relative to fiscal reward. Midstream storage and transportation is subject to high investment and operating costs\, whilst the downstream sector often requires colossal investment in terms of establishment of infrastructure and the ability to meet daily operating costs. The industry attracts close scrutiny from the global media\, and is subject to the involvement of multiple governments and their laws and regulations\, not only from a financial perspective such as taxation\, but also from other critical issues such as the cost of environmental compliance and health and safety. \nIt is against this background of high stakes with significant consequences for both success and failure\, that the importance of being highly efficient within commercial negotiations becomes of critical value. This oil and gas negotiation training has been specifically developed to provide the delegate with the tools; tactics and strategies to be successful when negotiating\, either alone or as part of a team. This oil and gas negotiation training will give the delegate an entirely new perspective of how to approach the negotiation process and be successful\, utilizing a powerful array of little\, (if known) techniques and proprietary templates. The course is an immersive experience combining open dialogue and problem solving throughout. A key element of this course is an ongoing team based exercise allowing the delegates to practice in real time the different components of the course material. The exercise is progressive and participants will have to think on their feet and will be challenged to find the most efficient settlement \nWho Should Attend\nExecutives wishing to increase their understanding of strategic processes and CSR within the International Oil and Gas Industry \n\nManagement wanting to broaden their overall understanding of the industry\nIndividuals involved with contracts\nSupply chain personnel\nIndividuals interested in understanding the International Oil and Gas Industry that do not work in it.\n\nKey Learning Objectives\nOn completion of this course\, the delegate will: \n\nBe able to evaluate how to approach the negotiation.\nWill understand the importance of due diligence prior to commencement.\nKnow how to ‘scope’ a negotiation\nBe able to evaluate and plan for negotiating in different environments.\nBe able to utilize a structured approach to planning and preparation for a negotiation.\nUnderstand the cultural interface and the critical importance of culture to commercial negotiations.\nGain an enhanced understanding of stress and what it means within the negotiation context.\nBe able to manage conflict efficiently.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Managing EPC Contracts in the Energy Sector
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-days EPC contracts training. As the Energy industry matures; competition has intensified as organisations seek different ways in which to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. One response to this has been to adopt a form of ‘risk transfer’ via outsourcing to make another party the ‘bearer’ of risk – i.e. appointing a contractor company that offers a ‘one-stop shop’ solution – to undertake the whole scope of a project by being the main contractor and subsequently managing the entire range of sub-contractor agreements to ensure that the deliverable in question is met in its entirety for the client / end user. These types of contract are often referred to as EPC (Engineering; Procurement and Construction contracts)\, whilst another common name for them is ‘Turnkey’ contracts. If the contract can be executed successfully\, the contractor stands to benefit\, whilst if there are problems and delays\, it is the contractor who may find themselves liable for bearing these costs. \nUnfortunately\, given the scale and scope of this species of commercial contract\, there is a great likelihood that most of the ambit of contractual misfortune in terms of breach; delay; quality issues; HSE compliance and local content issues (to name but a few) will manifest at some point during the project’s lifetime. This EPC contracts training course will furnish delegates with a thorough understanding of the key components and their interactions of an EPC contract and will address issues relative to dispute resolution. Focus is on open dialogue and collective problem solving relative to case examples and class exercises. This EPC contracts training course has been designed to provide an immersive\, value adding experience to delegates who attend. \nWho Should Attend\n\nContract personnel/managers / administrators\nProcurement departments\nIndividuals involved in managing project inventories\nIndividuals engaged within risk management\nTeam leaders\nAnyone else wanting to learn more about EPC contracts\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nBecome familiar with the importance of scoping an EPC project correctly both from the client / end user perspective and the contractor.\nHave awareness of the key features and contractual provisions of an EPC contract.\nHave a greater understanding of the dynamic nature of contractual provisions and some of the consequences that arise as a result of them within the commercial world.\nUnderstand how an EPC contract is structured.\nGrasp the fundamentally important aspects of managing risk in an EPC contract.\nBecome familiar with key procurement aspects associated with EPC contracts and projects.\nBe competent in supplier selection and evaluation.\nKnow what to focus on for managing the commercial performance of an EPC contract.\nUnderstand the importance of project change orders and how to efficiently manage change.\nBe competent in managing critical interfaces in power projects such as access to grid; fuel specifications and the commissioning regime.\nUnderstand the requirements and importance for EPC projects efficiency of critical (long) lead items and their impacts\, both positive and potentially negative.\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Advanced Maintenance and Reliability Management
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day in-person maintenance and reliability training course. The effective maintenance management within chemical plants is a critical feature of plant operation\, both in establishing the conditions for safe ongoing operation of the plant after commissioning\, and in supporting the commercial success of the business. Many companies focus on the cost of the maintenance organisation\, rather than on the benefits that they can provide\, and in doing so the real potential for maintenance organisations to make significant contributions to business success are often lost. Ultimately\, and assuming that the commercial department is able to sell the product that is produced\, the contribution of a maintenance organisation can most effectively be measured in terms of its ability to generate sustained improvements with time in the total (fixed and variable) cost per unit volume of production. There are a number of drivers which tend to increase the cost of production; certain types of equipment become unreliable with time\, obsolescence is often an issue\, environmental and safety standards are continuing to tighten\, and so on. \nOf course\, there are many tools and techniques that are available to help. This maintenance and reliability training focuses on techniques such as Risk Based Inspection\, Reliability Centred Maintenance\, and Total Productive Maintenance can all add value if they are used appropriately\, but it is important to remember that the long term aim of plant maintenance is to deliver sustained and continuous reduction in the cost per unit of production\, a point often lost in the mounds of paperwork that can be generated by some of the tools that are provided to help the maintenance engineer in his decision making! It is worth remembering that any debate or decision within the maintenance organisation which does not concern the selection or delivery of maintenance task is unlikely to contribute to improving the overall performance of the business. \nWho Should Attend\n\nAll plant engineers engaged in maintenance\, turnarounds and minor projects\nAll personnel in design\, project management and turnarounds\nPlant financial staff who have to approve projects\nPlant maintenance managers\nProject personnel\n\nKey Learning Objectives\n\nEnhancing your companies Maintenance and Operations understanding\nComprehensive understanding of techniques plus best in class approach\nCreate awareness of successful maintenance scheduling\nBetter understanding of failure mechanism and impact\nDevelop a clearer understanding of roles and responsibilities\nTo make plant engineers aware of the importance of overall equipment availability at the least cost\nTo manage the organizational changes required to maximize the contribution and generate sustained improvements\nTo teach financial principles to enable engineers to arrive at the least cost options in solving a technical problem\nTo enable project engineers to justify higher initial cost where lower overall life cycle cost and higher reliability result\nTo make all participants aware of the time value of money and the Cost of Non Compliance (PONC)\nUnderstanding of operational excellence practices\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n SUMMARY:Managing International EPC Contracts in Global Power Industry
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nAs the International Oil and Gas industry matures; competition has intensified as organisations seek different ways in which to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. One response to this has been to adopt a form of ‘risk transfer’ via outsourcing to make another party the ‘bearer’ of risk –i.e. appointing a contractor company that offers a ‘one-stop shop’ solution – to undertake the whole scope of a project by being the main contractor and subsequently managing the entire range of sub-contractor agreements to ensure that the deliverable in question is met in its entirety for the client/end-user. \nThese types of contract are often referred to as EPC (Engineering; Procurement and Construction contracts)\, whilst another common name for them is ‘Turnkey’ contracts. This course will furnish delegates with a thorough understanding of the key components and their interactions of an EPC contract and will address issues relative to dispute resolution. SUMMARY:Sedimentary Rocks and Depositional Environments
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a sedimentary rocks training course. Sedimentary rocks and their depositional environments are fundamental to all aspects of petroleum geoscience\, including evaluation of the petroleum system\, exploration\, field appraisal\, reservoir characterisation and development\, and solving production issues. Equally\, they are fundamental to the study of stratigraphy\, mineral resources\, water resources and global environmental change. \nSediments deposited in rivers and deserts\, deltas and deep-sea fans\, coasts\, shelves and contourite drifts\, bioherms and carbonate platforms\, all differ significantly in their rock properties\, diagenetic character\, heterogeneity and architecture. Such differences are key to understanding their behaviour as source rocks\, migration pathways\, reservoir rocks and seals\, in both conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon systems. \nThis sedimentary rocks training covers clastic\, carbonate\, evaporite and volcaniclastic sediments\, and the full range of settings in which they are deposited – including continental\, shallow marine and deepwater depositional environments. Careful consideration is given to the principal diagnostic features of sediments from the main environments – in the field\, in cores/bore-holes\, and in modern systems. Rock features include sedimentary structures\, textures\, composition\, petrophysical characteristics\, and biogenic/organic content. For each environment\, selected wireline logs will be examined\, and the overall rock geometry or architectural elements discussed. A series of case studies will illustrate a range of hydrocarbon fields and plays from each of the main depositional environments. \nThe presentations are fully illustrated with high quality colour images of sediments and sedimentary rocks from a wide range of modern\, ancient and subsurface examples. \nThe sedimentary rocks training will build on the handbook Sedimentary Rocks in the Field (Stow\, 2005) and the new edition in preparation\, Sedimentary Rocks in the Field and Core (Stow and Gerard\, 2021). SUMMARY:HAZOP Training: Hazard Studies and HAZOP Team Leader
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 3-day HAZOP training course. HAZOP and Hazard studies are an essential part of effective process safety management and HSE risk management. This course covers various process hazard assessment (PHA) techniques that team leaders must understand and be able to apply as well as facilitation skills required to manage successful hazard study meetings.\n \nThese techniques apply to all industry sectors including oil & gas\, petrochemicals\, chemicals\, pharmaceuticals\, and utilities\, both on new projects and on existing operating plants. Each hazard study technique aligns with a project stage and the needs of the level of project development at that stage.\n \nThe course consists of a series of modules that deal with the different hazard study stages and techniques and related process safety concepts and facilitation topics. Presentations are interactive with video illustrations and case studies. Group exercises are used for the different techniques (including\, inherent safety\, HAZID\, HAZOP and procedural HAZOP)\, to enable attendees to put into practice what they have learnt during the lecture presentations.\n \nThe HAZOP training course is intended to be an open course using generic (non-proprietary) examples and case studies but can be adapted with site specific case studies if available. \nWho Should Attend\nThe HAZOP training course is designed for participants who are expected to lead HAZOPs and already have some experience as HAZOP team members. It is also appropriate for regular team members who wish to develop their HAZOP and PHA skills further by hazard. \nTypical attendees would be: \n\nProcess Safety Engineers\nTechnical Safety Engineers\nProcess Design Engineers\nLoss Prevention Engineers\nTechnical Safety Managers\nProcess Safety Managers\nProcess Safety Advisers and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Advisers and Specialist\nTechnical Safety Authorities\nSafety/HSE Managers\nProcess Safety Consultants\n\nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number. SUMMARY:Advanced Basin Analysis Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis 3-day advanced case-study led basin analysis training course is designed to teach participants a process for rapidly screening frontier basin opportunities with minimal data\, with case studies from across the world\, including many African\, Atlantic and South-East Asian Basins. \nThe modules cover the essentials of basin classification and tectonostratigraphic analysis\, the prediction of petroleum system elements (reservoir\, source rocks and seals) and the presentation of a workflow with which the prospects of a basin can be rapidly assessed. The most recent world’s frontier discoveries are reviewed in their basin context and key elements are recognised that will identify the frontier discoveries of the future. SUMMARY:Planning and Scheduling for Day to Day Maintenance and Turnarounds
DESCRIPTION:Why Choose this Training Course\nThis is a 4-day training shutdown planning training course covering effective maintenance management within chemical plants is a critical feature of plant operation\, both in establishing the conditions for safe ongoing operation of the plant after commissioning and in supporting the commercial success of the business. Many companies focus on the cost of the maintenance organisation\, rather than on the benefits that they can provide\, and in so doing the real potential for maintenance organisations to make significant contributions to business success are often lost. Ultimately\, and assuming that the commercial department is able to sell the product that is produced\, the contribution of a maintenance organisation can most effectively be measured in terms of its ability to generate sustained improvements with time in the total (fixed and variable) cost per unit volume of production. \nThere are a number of drivers which tend to increase the cost of production; certain types of equipment become unreliable with time\, obsolescence is often an issue\, environmental and safety standards are continuing to tighten\, and so on. Of course\, there are many tools and techniques that are available to help. Techniques such as Risk-Based Inspection\, Reliability Centred Maintenance\, and Total Productive Maintenance can all add value if they are used appropriately\, but it is important to remember that the long term aim of plant maintenance is to deliver sustained and continuous reduction in the cost per unit of production\, a point often lost in the mounds of paperwork that can be generated by some of the tools that are provided to help the maintenance engineer in his decision making! It is worth remembering that any debate or decision within the maintenance organisation which does not concern the selection or delivery of maintenance task is unlikely to contribute to improving the overall performance of the business. \nWho Should Attend\nThis shutdown planning training takes delegates through the planning and management phase of both maintenance and project management\, based on best practice. The course is especially useful for Engineering and Project managers\, engineers\, planners\, schedulers\, supervisors\, cost engineers\, Safety/Quality engineers and Operations personnel. \nKey Learning Objectives\n• Improve your company’s approach to planning and scheduling\n• Provide a framework for effective turnaround execution\n• Highlight the unique safety requirements of turnarounds\n• Foster the “one team” approach to turnarounds\n• Provide a comprehensive knowledge base for turnarounds \n• Demonstrate the latest planning techniques for turnarounds\n• Highlighting the operational checkout and startup requirements\n• Learn the conditions for acceptance of the plant by plant operations personnel \nEnquiry Form\n\n \n \n SalutationMr.Ms.Miss.Mrs.Mdm.Dr.Prof.Capt.-Name*\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone*Email*\n \n Company*Current Location* \n \n \n AfghanistanAlbaniaAlgeriaAmerican SamoaAndorraAngolaAnguillaAntarcticaAntigua and BarbudaArgentinaArmeniaArubaAustraliaAustriaAzerbaijanBahamasBahrainBangladeshBarbadosBelarusBelgiumBelizeBeninBermudaBhutanBoliviaBonaire\, Sint Eustatius and SabaBosnia and HerzegovinaBotswanaBouvet IslandBrazilBritish Indian Ocean TerritoryBrunei DarussalamBulgariaBurkina FasoBurundiCambodiaCameroonCanadaCape VerdeCayman IslandsCentral African RepublicChadChileChinaChristmas IslandCocos IslandsColombiaComorosCongoCongo\, Democratic Republic of theCook IslandsCosta RicaCroatiaCubaCuraçaoCyprusCzechiaCôte d'IvoireDenmarkDjiboutiDominicaDominican RepublicEcuadorEgyptEl SalvadorEquatorial GuineaEritreaEstoniaEswatiniEthiopiaFalkland IslandsFaroe IslandsFijiFinlandFranceFrench GuianaFrench PolynesiaFrench Southern TerritoriesGabonGambiaGeorgiaGermanyGhanaGibraltarGreeceGreenlandGrenadaGuadeloupeGuamGuatemalaGuernseyGuineaGuinea-BissauGuyanaHaitiHeard Island and McDonald IslandsHoly SeeHondurasHong KongHungaryIcelandIndiaIndonesiaIranIraqIrelandIsle of ManIsraelItalyJamaicaJapanJerseyJordanKazakhstanKenyaKiribatiKorea\, Democratic People's Republic ofKorea\, Republic ofKuwaitKyrgyzstanLao People's Democratic RepublicLatviaLebanonLesothoLiberiaLibyaLiechtensteinLithuaniaLuxembourgMacaoMadagascarMalawiMalaysiaMaldivesMaliMaltaMarshall IslandsMartiniqueMauritaniaMauritiusMayotteMexicoMicronesiaMoldovaMonacoMongoliaMontenegroMontserratMoroccoMozambiqueMyanmarNamibiaNauruNepalNetherlandsNew CaledoniaNew ZealandNicaraguaNigerNigeriaNiueNorfolk IslandNorth MacedoniaNorthern Mariana IslandsNorwayOmanPakistanPalauPalestine\, State ofPanamaPapua New GuineaParaguayPeruPhilippinesPitcairnPolandPortugalPuerto RicoQatarRomaniaRussian FederationRwandaRéunionSaint BarthélemySaint Helena\, Ascension and Tristan da CunhaSaint Kitts and NevisSaint LuciaSaint MartinSaint Pierre and MiquelonSaint Vincent and the GrenadinesSamoaSan MarinoSao Tome and PrincipeSaudi ArabiaSenegalSerbiaSeychellesSierra LeoneSingaporeSint MaartenSlovakiaSloveniaSolomon IslandsSomaliaSouth AfricaSouth Georgia and the South Sandwich IslandsSouth SudanSpainSri LankaSudanSurinameSvalbard and Jan MayenSwedenSwitzerlandSyria Arab RepublicTaiwanTajikistanTanzania\, the United Republic ofThailandTimor-LesteTogoTokelauTongaTrinidad and TobagoTunisiaTurkmenistanTurks and Caicos IslandsTuvaluTürkiyeUS Minor Outlying IslandsUgandaUkraineUnited Arab EmiratesUnited KingdomUnited StatesUruguayUzbekistanVanuatuVenezuelaViet NamVirgin Islands\, BritishVirgin Islands\, U.S.Wallis and FutunaWestern SaharaYemenZambiaZimbabweÅland Islands\n Country\n \n \n How many people are you looking at?1 - 2 Standard Rates3 - 5 Group Discount>10 In-House Training\, Huge Savings!Undecided\, need more informationThis is just an approximate number.
