Ensure that your message is correct and intended for the correct audience. Use the right level of language as well as check for any grammatical errors in your message. Nothing is worse than embarrassing grammar mistakes.


  1. Complete

Your message has to cover all relevant areas or potential questions your audience might be curious about. An incomplete message often indicates negligence on your part. A completed message would make it easier for the audience to digest your message and sway them towards your idea.


  1. Concrete

Ensure that any information presented in your message is true and backed with evidence, such as analytics. This will prevent misinterpretation or misunderstanding. By making sure that your message is concrete, it will also increase the credibility of your message.

Nobody likes a long presentation. Keep your message short and sweet while making your message comprehensive. Present just the necessary information. Avoid length sentences. This will help to retain information in your audience’s minds.

Prepare your message with your audience in mind. Know your audience’s needs and ensure that your message can relate to them. Match your language to their knowledge and abilities. It is important that your audience have the capability to understand your language and can process what you said fast and efficiently.

Show respect for your audience. Even if you know that your audience might not agree with your point of view, be respective of their thoughts. Present a positive presentation and be sincere. Avoid discriminatory languages.
